I just found the Avengers Assemble Leader and jetpack Nick Fury at Ross, for $5 each they'll be nice stocking stuffers.

Good find..The Leader was a real quick come and go figure..nice use of the Skrull body. wish they would have used that and given us a Graviton. The Avengers line wasn't used to its full potential. Marketing for kids stuff now is so weird. Like they have the Avengers cartoon, and Ultimate Spiderman and yet no toys that they market....GI Joe, Transformers, Turtles and the damn Power Rangers, yet disney has put no effort...crazy

they are 4" Tron soldiers from the Tron Legacy line. bought for like 3 bucks from Tuesday Morning eons ago. they make great comic style soldiers. they can be anything. the chest has modern iron man type lights that you can push a button and they light up.

The articulation isn't that bad. At least they weren't 5 POA.
I use mine as DC Black Manta's soldiers. I just need a Black Manta.
They do kind of resemble the ones on Young Justice.

we have 10 of the TRON BLACK GUARD figures! Use them as S.H.I.E.L.D. Super Heluicarrier personel. The orange bits are painted white, S.H.I.E.L.D. decals on arm, and they have the NICK FURY MAIL AWAY jetpacks and giant blaster guns. All that remain of the great accidental throwing away of 9 NICK FURY MAIL AWAY figures.



We figure on the Helicarrier, while it is flying aroung one would need both a giant gun and a jetpack for health and sdafety regulations. Plan to 'run' a tiny of whit wire from the calf and elbow extension things to behind the jetpack for a bit more white and added sci-fi effect. Also would not mind head swapping it with something else to make him pop.



On a side note, I do remember seeing someone taking 6 of them and painting them silver and using them as Ultrons!!!! Might be a nice and cheap alternative4 as EVERYONE wants to army build him now. It6 will only get worse in May when AoU comes out but a 3.75" does not. (still hope I am wrong about that)Would be better to head swap him with cast Ultron heads, but one could pull it off with the BLACK GUARD head.

(will take some pics this week of the S.H.I.E.L.D. converts))
