As soon as Hasbro eventually release Skurge, I just have to get him and The Enchatress to finish my A:EMH Masters Of Evil - Ionic Wonder Man, Movie Abomination, Baron Zemo & IM2 Crimson Dynamo so far.

Hasbro really needs to re-release all the females they made on their old buck - without the elbow swivel - on new bodies, most likely the Wasp/Dagger/Scarlet Witch buck. Storm, Ms Marvel, Spider woman, Phoenix & Kitty Pryde need better figures!!

There's a sale of sorts at HTS with free shipping and 20% off orders using a code found easily at the site. I went ahead and ordered a Deathlok and Death's Head which catches me up on every figure that I actually wanted.

I can live without Chemistro & Living Laser because they were only in the show for like 3 episodes, but Skurge & Amora are mainstays in the group. The fact that we've got Mary Jane Watson, Future Foundation paper bag mask Spider man, and a complete bloody Wrecking Crew before Skurge or Emma Frost is some form of madness!

I saw this avengers pack at Ross today... Never did see it at retail but I read on a website where variants are chased that it was released in Singapore. Almost pulled the trigger but I passed, the ironman looked cool. I have too many versions of these guys already.[IMG][/IMG]

I didn't even know it existed. Pretty cool and thanks for posting your finding.
I love that Loki figure. I bought him from one of the Asian sellers on eBay earlier in the year. I bought a clear staff from Vortious Customs since he didn't come with one. I'm glad they're showing up at Ross though. The Iron Man looks ok, but the other two don't do anything for me. Thanks for posting Kernel!

You're right. The female body that seems to be their norm has legs that are too long and don't move outward enough. She's also too tall and gangly. The former buck they had was fine except for the lack of elbows and thigh swivel; at least she had actual body proportions like hips and boobs. The newer body is flat as a board and thin as a pencil.

I highly doubt we'll get anything new until next year and may be as early/late as spring. If anything the online retailers will most likely get it first.

What an unusual, but clever solution. (SS's hip joints are as weak as most Showdown toys.) With that slim buck, those legs look appropriate. The extra articulation will give you some great pose-ability. Do you plan on adding a metallic wash to the legs?

Also, hi all! Long time lurker, new poster.

Welcome to "THE" thread onescale. I too am obsessed with the scale and have made plenty of customs and whatnot to keep the scale alive for me.

Silver Surfer is on the Human Torch buck and I cannot say too many good things about it...

I actually hadn't planned to because the white had a kind of shine to it, but I might do to make them match the torso. The ankle pivot means that he can kneel down and still stand on his board so that's pretty cool

I got a Jim Lee Cyclops to make into a Wolverine and the X-Men Bishop, and I think it worked out quite well.
I used the Cyclops body, GI Joe Renegades Ripcord head with a painted goatee and a filed M, CA:TWS Falcon hands, Dr Strange shins/feet & Rise of Cobra Snake Eyes coat.
The Jim Lee head I gave to the Infinite Cyclops because I really hate the stupid mask he wears.

Bishop goes with my Xavier who is a Professor X head and hands, Wild Bill body and a custom made leg-walker thing using the Jango Fett removable armour leg parts and belt.

Good use of that cyclops buck it is a really good one. I used the single carded wolverine that had a head variant for all my 90's X-men. It worked perfectly for Bishop and Banshee. I actually used those leg guards from Jango on Domino as all the pics I found of her had similar looking chin guards.

Interesting, I would have thought a Wolverine figure to be too short, but if it works fair enough.

Just a show of my X-Men. I've really started to get into X-Men after Days of Future Past came out, before then it was all Avengers for me.
I got all of these since the movie except for Wolverine and Beast whom I got for my Avengers anyway. I only had a Professor X because I needed a suited body for Agent Coulson.

This X-Men group is made up of Cyclops, custom Emma Frost, Gambit, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, Wolverine, Xavier, custom Bishop, Beast, and a ROC Scarlett as Jean Grey. I liked Jean's X-Men 1 costume and Scarlett had the closest one. I painted a red phoenix symbol on her chest.

My Brotherhood is made up of Magneto with a Vortious custom head and helmet, Mystique with a full body repaint and Avengers Black Widow hair, & Juggernait with a Vortious custom helmet.

My Wolverine Origins Weapon X team is halfway done, My Stryker is a TVC Rebel Fleet Trooper with TVC Colonel Cracken head and hands. With him I can do the "No, please Xavier. Don't get up." scene from X2 and the 'Wolverine gets shot in the head' scene from Origins.

Whoa, lucky you!
I paid mine losse without blasts 20$ on HissTank, so I think 20 would be a decent price...?

Yesterday, I was casually buying pastas, sand for the cat's toilets and other daily stuff at my Monoprix (french Walgreen) when I gave a shot to the (usually empty) small toy aisle... well Christmas is around so maybe they have some new stuff...?
....!?

WHoa, what!? We actually got wave 2&3 of MI in France? When? Where? Why?!
And since they're not much popular, plenty to choose from Ares, Omega Red, Valkyrie, etc... there are actually so much of them that I'll take the luxury to wait after Christmas to get them for a lower price...

I don't like the new Marvel Infinite package, but if it means worldwide release, I'm signing up!

I think this has been a real odd Xmas season, I'm not sure if its me just being wrapped up in all of the grownup events that are taking place in the world right now or what, but It seems like the output of Marvel stuff is at a low or atleast it being advertised ...This last set of 3.75 came out and its been a buzz kill and it doesnt seem like they are even trying to sell this stuff for xmas..like i said maybe its me.
I'll put this on BTS also, anybody got a Red Shulkie they want to sell or trade for ? I'd rather ask here before I go and grab on Ebay :-)

I went to Five Below and Ollies last night hoping they got their annual toy haul in. I had already checked with both when people were seeing Avenger Assemble figures at Five below and all they had were one IM and one Captain, but yesterday was a score. They had almost every figure from AA, I picked up Black Widow and one Nick Fury. I passed on the blonde Hawkeye, Leader, and the other 4 Nick Furys and immediately wanted to go back in and buy them, but I held off for other Xmas needs.

Then onto ollies they got in more comic packs so I picked up a stange/surfer pack. Planning to use the stange body as a collector and Surfer will soon become savage surfer. Also they had pretty much every ASM figure from the first movie for only $4!!!! I picked up a Lizard for a custom Sauron.

Not bad finds I'm still looking for another AA Hulk.
