I think the wave is still rumor, truthfully. But I'd bet sure money on Rogue and Black Bolt being straight re-releases, Yellow DD on the terrible new buck, and I'm hoping (in vain most likely) that Vision and Morbius will be on the nice DD/Cap/Cyclops buck.

Skurge appears to be on the Hercules buck, which is a missed opportunity as we've discussed how appropriate the stockier Thanos/Blastaar buck would be for him.

Now,now Ursa, we've been over this before. The Hercules buck is a better likeness than the overly stocky Hulk buck.

Big buck all the way!!!! Just how Im rollin these days! Also, it was only Gamora who won the fan vote with an undisclosed wave release next year. I would agree that a lot of the rumoured stuff will be re releases, as those were never single carded, that seems to be a big idea they have now- good be us everything we have already gotten with minimal new stuff, the occasional variant of an existing figure and poor new ones. I personally do believe the rumoured list to be accurate. Makes since to me with what they have said they wanted to focus more on.

So they said at first it would be Avengers, then Spidey and X-Men them with Secret Wars after that..... Any ideas as to where they might be going after that? I know it JUST speculation, but curious to hear some thoughts? Cosmic maybe? Marvel Knights perhaps?

Granted. I guess I just keep wanting Skurge to be a bit bigger than Thor. And the angle Hasbro took that picture at is not at all flattering to the figure.

BBTS has the Skrull Soldiers from the first Avengers movie line discounted to like $6.50

The Avengers 3.75" Figure Series 03 - Skrull Soldier - The Avengers (2012) Figures

Figured id share it here since there are army builders that might be interested. Dorkside has Iron Spider for $2.99 but there's only one in stock and the shipping isn't worth it for just one figure. I would get four or five of him for an Iron Spiders unit and a Superior custom, and BBTS has him for 4.99 so I might get them there.

Edit: Actually, Iron Spider is just limited to one per order/person.

Ooo... the Skrull is tempting, but I must remain strong. I have a single one of these already that I've renamed Paibok, and I don't want to lessen that by having a ton more on the shelf.

I really need to figure out the best way to make a Kl'rt one of these days.

And Kree soldiers.

Super Skrull - Fantastic Four - Series 3 - Toy Biz Action Figure
I grabbed him paint his face darker.. i like him cause his bigger and more imposing than the other Skrulls. Theres a few really compatible figs from the old toy biz line.
ZZZZaXX, Wendigo, Sasquatch, Super Skull, Gorgon, Giant man from the box set,Ronan with a paint job (he's listed as 7'5") but i prefer the first 5 mentioned, they are in my opinion perfect scale. As far as Skurge, I think we all got used to what he looks like in EMH, which wasn't really accurate from a girth stand point. They had it more accurate in Ultimate Spiderman(run lil piggy episode)

Dubious is the man to track down for Kree soldiers.

Articulation aside... The movie line Skrulls are very nice. Forget the blue paint and cosmic axe (wtf to that) and what os left is a nice figure! I have just five of them and use them as BRUTES. They tower over the skinny MU counterparts and can actually stand on their own quite easily. Playability over poseability on that one. I am guilty as well but I think sometimes we get caught up in how many poses the ankles can do over how structrually sound the figure is. What gets me is from that same line the Chitauri are 5poa and the package shows them with bent arms and knees!!!

You can also swap a head onto a leader body and that can be the Commander or something.

Good thought!

I want to make THE OTHER, the guy who leads the Chitauri and is Thanos right hand guy in Avengers who summoned Loki and is killed by Ronan in GotG. Don't want soft goods and want cheap Chinabay type price points.... Any thoughts?

That's a good idea. His suit is close enough to a Skrull's, just paint the orange bits purple.

EDIT: Just realized they have the exact same body mold. I feel stupid.

I hadn't even considered that Super-Skrull figure. I have some of those you mentioned (Wendigo, Sasquatch, Giant-Man) but completely forgot about those Super-Skrull and Zzzaxx figures. Heck, I've even got the old Terrax and Firelord figures standing on my shelf still.

How does Gorgon look, though? If memory serves he seems like he might be a tad too large compared to the other Inhumans. I mean I'm aware he's a big character but I seem to recall his figure being bigger than the others of its time as well.

Thanks!!

I'm thinking one of the old Phantom Menace Darth Mauls, they had some hard robes that are reminiscent of the Other and he's cheap now.

Ah I didn't see the other one. Kind of blended in with Thor's costume, at least with my declining eyesight it did.

Shoot they look kind of cool? Action figures for girls my tail. If I weren't broke as a joke right now I'd buy some for fodder at least.

The one other person in a cloak I can think of is Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars. Or you could get those removable plastic Jedi robes or Jedi bodies.

...I just remembered the guy from Red Faction Armageddon so I looked him up but his 'dress' is way too fancy.

All the black, non-soft goods cloaks I could think off in 10 minutes. Were it me doing this, I'd use the Death Eater from the Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince 3.75 line, the cloak looks more like the Others.

I really liked that Joe POC blowtorch. Super easy to use havoks head and turn him into pyro and use blowtorchs head for a passable arcade.
