here is a free tip Kernal......if he is a highly wanted figure, Hasbro wont make him!!!! No need for SDCC mate. Now you can get startwed! check out at 3:30, better than the Batteler... also cheap Chinabay Colosus and at least you can paint his left arm and pop him on Ares, so about the same cost as a cast head shipped and you get some fodder? I feel you though....Deaths Head, Colosus, paint, a hood, a hammer.... looking at least $35+ and you have to do all the work! How cool would a factory Ronana set with some Kree be for an exclusive this year! Fat chance but still..... @Zend...those llok to be ProTech stands, I love them!!! EDIT:I just noticed that Terrax back there.....a closer look at him would be nice is that custom or that older 5" Fantastic Four figure?

				 | Quote: So folks told me about a comic shop about and hour and 15 mins from my house that has a large stock of older comic figures. I picked up Ares, Doc Samson & Hobgoblin (no glider, now I need 2) It was an awesome store I'll def be going back. Had lots of legends and the old 5" toy biz figures. I'm going back in 2-3 weeks I'll really dig through the shelves then. Anyway I modified the Ares & Goblin asa I got home. Just swapped out the cape & head from the 3.75" spider line. Ares has the holster from Deathlike & the belt is from Age of Thunder Thor. I'll prob hit up Vortuous for the arm & correct sword. It was a nice Bday present to score some new Marvel figs. I'll be 30 tomorrow can't believe I'm still playing toys Great looking change-ups btw. That head looks way better on the MU Hobby. |

Yeah it looks bad when I'm blocking out a father & his 6 year old son so I can dig through toys on the shelves. That's why I like taking my daughter with me one more useful advantage for having children. Daughter loves it too! I've turned her into a huge comic nerd, not many 4 year old girls can tell you about less mainstream comic book characters.

That's correct. They are indeed ProTech stands obtained here. Quote:

Thanks ukmu and Ursa, I'll be adding them to my shopping list. I totally dig through pegs in front of parents with their kids. Half the time, their kids are standing in front of the good stuff being indecisive on what they want so I just say excuse me and nab what I'm there for and get out. No shame! | _(Earth-616)_from_Secret_Avengers_Vol_1_21.1.jpg) Making this. I need these blades. I've looked at Spawn & Tortured Souls figures but the blade comes to far around. Any help? I plan on using ares as the base & having the GI Joe Dreadnok Doom Cycle as his bike. Taking some creative liberties but I think end product will look slick.

Nevermind, they are indeed sculpted lines. Thinking about using Colossus' upper arms in a custom but those lines won't work with the character.

If its the same A to Z toys that was at Richmond Comic Con back in September, I can confirm that the owner is awesome. Sold me a couple of hard to find ToyBiz Spider-Man figures for good prices. Do they have an online shop?

It was The Comic Book shop on Marsh Road in Wilmington DE. I live in Rising Sun Maryland. Could have got there faster if I went through the toll.

I never knew the Terrax scaled so well! I have never seen a comparison pic and had read several times he just does not fit in. Wow, were they wrong. Looks great on the shelf. Great pic Jackieboy, as always. Nice to see you around! We were wanting to make it to the park Saturday and take a little HYDRA love outside but it never happened! Going on a picnic Sunday and we will have to ask Mama UKMU if we can bring some toys to shot. Mama UKMU is not a fan of action figures, in fact she hates them. I will have to strike a deal and eat her horrible potato salad and talk about vintage dresses for 45 minutes to have a chance at bringing them along..... The things we do for our toys.
