be careful, the way Marvel writers have been going lately this sounds like an idea they'll steal for the post-secret wars MU! you might want to take a screen shot of your post just in case it becomes the 2015 avengers comic plot base, along with Thor's sex change, spidey, and cap's race change, Ice Man coming out of the closet, capt. Marvels conversion to Islam, Hulks eating disorder, wolverine seeing a therapist to confront feelings of inadequacy over Sabertooth's bullying, Namor being forced to leave earth due to global warming, the conversion of Quinjets to electric, and Storm leaving the X-men due to there lack of genetic diversity and sexist name.

And...action!

Is this thing in stores?? Great pics by the way actually love them look of the tiny Iron man head in it.

That one is in my Stark Armory, but it's not one of the better Hulk-buster figures made. Though the vac-metalized parts do come in handy for customs.

I use both the Marvel Legends Hulkbuster and Thorbuster armors in my Armory display (when it's actually... erm... on display and not in storage). Room is currently at a premium in my den.

Just wanted to do a quick first Avengers film inspired team setup. Also, today at Target the 5-POA AoU toys were on sale at $5 so I picked up the last two Ultrons, I didn't expect them to be soft plastic but for $5 a piece they're alright.

Soft plastic? So 5 POA isn't the limit in terms of shittiness for them?

Man, I just got back from seeing AoU and boy oh boy do I want super articulated figures of the team. Hasbro more than likely is making good money off the merch deal, so it sucks they went the cheap route and made the toys for the film so.... awful. I honestly wish they would've cancelled the MU/MUI line entirely if it meant we could get great 3.75 AoU figures.

Also, Paul Bettany stole the film as The Vision. Not sure if that counts as spoilers.

No Deathlok
No Whirlwind
No Wasp
No Nebula
No Antman
No Sandman
No Beast
No Starfox
No Hyerion
No Grim Reaper
No Ionic Wonderman
No Thunderstrike
No Red She-Hulk
No Deathshead
No Shanna

No Colosonaught
No Northstar (well, jury is still out on him)
No Emma
No Valkyrie

No key repacks

Would you trade that for a movie accurate Olson Twin's little sister?

Agree Ukmu. No offense towards Zend , who certainly has as much right to an opinion as any one else, but that would be a move that would make it very easy for me to jump off this hobby, and I'm sure many of us.

Not that movie figures aren't a good thing or anything, I'd just rather not make the sacrifice. And to be honest if they were to go a full comic route I probably wouldn't miss the movie figures being missing that much either.

look, I know we got shat on with the AOU 3.75 figures, but look at your local store, AOU figures and other garbage is clogging the isle, hell there already going on sale, and the movie is still in theaters. plus the Spider man 5 POA line seems to be sitting in stores so maybe our wallets will do the talking, surely Hasbro notices when say, XMO figures sell out case after case, and a couple years later the Wolverine 5poa clogs the rack until the bubbles fall off.

Yeah I was surprised to see AOU and the Bishop MI wave at Kohl's of all places this weekend. I'll take the comic figures over movie figures any day, but that Ultron figure is atrocious. The hands are tiny and so is the body, and now hearing that the plastic is soft... I hope hasbro reverses course once they realize this stuff doesn't sell. I kind of wish they would have kept that jack o lantern look that ultron has in the comics for the movies. I saw AoU again yesterday, there is so much going on in that movie that you almost have to see it twice.

Have to see it more than once to drink it all in and to support Marvel Studios as an independent film company.

The 5 poa figures will be the death of figure lines in between 2" and 6" if they keep this up. A decent 3.75" figure is now 13$ and a crap one is 7$.... Maybe find a middle ground at 10$ for the movie figures? Like Captain America The First Avenger line. Like the cartoon with Leader In between MU and MI. Why does it have to be all or nothing?

They don't sell at over the tenner to parents as a day out toy. Under a tenner they are low quality and kids dnt ask for them..... At least give knees, elbows and a decent accessory! Or skip the goofy giant gun and go with wrists and ankles.

In my area the 5-POA crap toys are usually around $9 or $10, the only reason I picked up the two Ultron toys is because they were basically half off and kinda army-builders. I think it also speaks to the low demand of the recent movie toys that the Captain America: TWS toys (which are considerably better than the rest of the movie toys in this scale) aren't even selling now that my local Wal-Mart has knocked them down to $5.

Agreed. They could have at least made them like the 2012 line from the first movie... with a bone thrown to collectors in the 1 per case black widow.
