yeah, I'm thinking anyone who doesn't enter has a vote. I just don't know how long to make it. a month? but what if someone's ordering parts? two months? I'm down for any ideas.

I would love to enter (see if I can still come up with good stories to go with marginal custom background figs I've made) but moving so all of my stuff is in storage...plus side new house has a bigger set up room so looking forward to posting pics one day.

Im actually working on a comic now, but my character would be a simple custom and wouldn't be nearly as cool as some of the ones I know some of you would come up with.

How about entries have to be in the by the 13th of july..day after the con...that gives you almost 50 days

so rules: make a custom figure (or team if you want to go nuts) of an original concept character, costume, or original take on an existing character (like if you wanted to make say, sorcerer supreme wolverine) with a back story. enter by 13 July, we'll judge on the 14'th, judges will be anyone who doesn't have an entry in to keep it fare. it'll probably be easier to keep track of entries if contestants PM me copies, but I do want them all up for everyone to see also. other than that go nuts! and the winner will get the booty, and I'll cover the shipping. (god help me if one of you Brits win!) ....uh, GO!

yeah, I don't see a problem with teaming up, as long as you both put your names to the team, so you can't work with someone, enter it under there name then influence the vote for your own project. but if everyone's cool i'm down for collusion.

I suggest you start a different thread for the entries that way its easier to track who joined and what they submitted and would be easier for the judges to vote for their favorites.

Because I wanted to collect all of the Widows in this scale and then they had to go and make three of them impossible to get.

Honestly, what super powers haven't been done by another character yet? Were I in charge I'd say that similar powers doesn't matter so long as the rest of your character is your own creation, I don't think there's a patent on heat-vision or anything so go for it.

yeah hell, DC and Marvel have basically repacked each others characters hundreds of times. and En Sabah's right, I think every power has been done at some point. just alter the back story, or go the recent lazy Marvel rout of "alternate timeline that never actually happened" or change the costume.
