My Deathlok is nice and durable, maybe it's just an error with your figure in specific since I've never heard of anyone having issues with Deathlok aside from some people having the backpack easily removed when they mess with the figure.

Decided to see if the infinity gauntlet from the MU Thanos would fit onto the Infinite Series Hulk figure earlier. Didn't exactly pop into place and was very wobbly due to not having a peg but I did eventually manage to get it to balance on the wrist and so I made this, just for fun! Sorry about the image quality not being great. It was a pretty big JPEG and the only easy way I knew of to make it smaller was to screenshot it and save it through Paint.

Even without the final fine tuning it looks great. Clever custom and sharp painting skills!

Thanks. When I was thinking of the parts I wanted to make it with the least amount of paint rub. That cloak body comes in handy for a lot of characters. I used it on shroud also. I think I'll use it for brother voodoo also soon as I can find a build'n brawl head.

Nice team Samsson I really like Living Laser but that M'Baku is still the show stopper there, such a great finished product and his necklace is awesome.

Now that I've got Ant-Man coming in the mail I think I'm going to try and make a modern looking Klaw to go with him. At least until they do something more with him in the movies anyway.

Yeah I kind of agree it seems like they may be trying to kill the line and focus on the smaller and larger figures. Granted they have the Gamora and Captain Marvel for 2016 but what else is even remotely promised (the MIA figures not withstanding). No word on an SDCC exclusive. I'm wonder if they they're going to just do a wave or two next year and let that be it, or even just release those two female figures in an exclusive (3?) pack. o_O

I think people need to calm down a bit. 3.75'' will come back. Sales are still moderately strong.
Even Marvel Legends took a step back for a bit before coming back. I expect that when it comes back though, there might be a heavier emphasis on ANAD, and classic figures will start to be more sparse. It honestly seems like Hasbro might have some surprises in store later. Especially with some of the rumors floating around like reduction of X-Men figures in Marvel Infinite. The last time they did a reduction like that was right before XMO:Wolverine figures hit. We need to take a deep breath and step back for a second. Think of this from a business perspective for long term monetary investments. Like AoU for example. Yes the figures were heavily reduced articulation, but they also still had compatible heads and other accessories. One of the key factors to selling multiple figures of the same character is increased articulation to replace the previous. So with Marvel's slate announced, Hasbro has 5 years worth of lines to plan out on how best to monetize repeat sales on same characters. In this instance they even potentially saved money by up scaling and down scaling those figures across two sales points. Marvel Infinite for example, may have had some cost cutting to balance out more original parts usage, but they did attempt to give fans figures they'd been demanding. Bishop and Black cat were both made. They completed the sinister 6. They have a lot of molds that can still be repacked like Shocker, venom/anti-venom, and Carnage. Marvel themselves have a strong market presence currently with the ANAD initiative going to create demand for those characters even among kids. I think we should wait for SDCC/NYCC and see what Hasbro may have in the works coming up. They might surprise us with what's coming for the rest of the year, and have even bigger surprises for next year. |

lol,let me reign that "line is dead" horse back in,thats not what im saying im just concerned at how well the line is actually doing, good sales will see it continue.
we know how the rest of the year will shape up regarding infinite.personally i never seen the pricing as a problem at a retail level.i understand the logistics involved in production and distribution.but as an observer i see the price issue pop up frequently on other forums in relation to 3.75" and the fact previous movie lines did not sell well until they hit the bargain bin or went on final reduction.legends on the other hand have had a decent sale rate. so bad sales on movie lines resulted in cut in quality in 3.75",and the introduction of a new line....2.75". im just hoping sdcc has some nice things in store for us........doombots!!!! |

From what I understand, the biggest hurdle the 3.75" line has is the fact the costs to produce it are starting to equal what it costs for a 6" figure. Most stores still sell 6" figures for around $20 while 3.75" figures are at least $12+ now.

The saving grace to 3.75'' right now in the cost department has been the repacks potential. When Hasbro had multiple lines going at once previously, they did manage to pump out a decent selection of figures that can help buffer out the lines as needed when needed. Personally, I'm really hoping for that multiple line set up again. It'd be nice to have a dedicated Marvel comic line (marvel infinite) alongside a dedicated X-Men line. With the X-Men line being cinematic tied, it'll phase in and out which will allow repacks over in Marvel Infinite, and ditto to the upcoming MCU movies. Essentially flood the market on new figures. Then go back to toning it down and pushing some repacks into Marvel infinite. Then rinse and repeat every few years to really stretch that budget more and more while getting decent returns in the process. |

I think the biggest thing that amazes me about the 3.75 toyline is Hasbro refuses to capitalize on the cartoons they have two cartoons that come on have got extended to the third and fourth season and yet they don't make toys for the kids to act out what they see on TV how many villains do they show on Avengers Assemble that could have action figures the same with ultimate Spiderman what happened to the good ol days like with GI Joe where you saw the character on the cartoon and then you could go out and buy it heck the cartoons back then we're nothing but half hour commercials to sell toys !!!and it worked pretty damn good on me !!! Ninja turtles uses the mode now. Go into a store you can find every character
