The new Blade comic sounds like a pretty awesome read. Not sure why him having a daughter is emasculating at all. Personally, I want a figure of her now. Come on hasbro! Perfect comic pack opportunity right here. A chance to redo Blade using the winter soldier buck used for Nick Fury, and a chance to do what looks like a badass new character with a neat design!

She sounds very "What if Kendra was Buffy in the movie and the movie wasn't so campy but handled seriously." How they plan on exploring Blade himself sounds promising too. Definitely worth a read.
we need some 4" Vampire villains for him to battle first

I'd rather have those two first, but a Vlad figure because of his Avengers Assemble appearances, and the semi-recent X-Men vs Vampires story would be awesome too.

The problem with Marvel vampires, for the most part they don't really stick around long enough outside of a dust bin to warrant figures. Vampire Jubilee has a figure, so she could probably work as a Dracula two pack, and there's the other ones from that story, but it looks like All-New Marvel will be focusing on newer creations. Plus it's easier to find monsters in other lines that work well too. Man Wolf and some of the other marvel monsters might be cool, but do we really want them taking up slots that could be used for other more dominant characters in MI that we still want to see made and preferably soon?

When we still need characters like Satana, and Lilith, or even Vlad, I'm not sure how much deeper they could go without causing a shelf warming figure unless it's a multipack or comic pack combo with a figure that does sell.

And if the choice came between random vampire #5 or Songbird or an updated Luke Cage, I'd rather have Songbird or an updated Luke cage.

*Edit*
Also some pics from X-Men: Apocalypse are circulating. I gotta say, I kinda really want MI scaled figures of the new Magneto, Psylocke, and Storm used in the movie. Not so excited for apocalypse himself anymore, but the horsemen are looking pretty bad ass overall. They would have paired up nicely to at least Blink from DOFP.

There's plenty of options for Blade.

With the X-men where he taught.

With She-Hulk, Luke Cage, and Falcon for the Mighty Avengers.

With Captain Britain and Black Knight for MI:13.

With Ghost Rider and Morbius for Midnight Sons.

I tend to pair Blade up with other heroes and anti-heroes, usually loners, like Punisher, Ghost Rider, Electra, sometimes Daredevil or even Black Widow*, USAgent, War Machine, they are sometimes Shield sponsered and sometimes just more vigilante. sometimes Supernatural responsive and sometimes not. They're more fringe operatives to me than anything else. But that's just how i roll.

*Black Widow only usually gets involved if it's Shield Sponsored or they're workign with Avengers. But she's would fit in well with the rest of the group I think, even with her Avengers ties.

That picture rekindles my want for a Spectrum figure. Like Mockingbird and Dr. Strange she is one of the few characters who's current look to me is just as if not more appealing than her iconic outfit. I'd be fine with either and honestly with that outfit and hair it could mostly a repaint of the Wasp. She was a leader of the Avengers for goodness sakes (for a very short time) does she not deserve some figure love?

Looks to me like Luke's been deaged to match his ultimate spiderman cartoon look. Not sure if that's what it is but it is my best guess

Luke isn't visible in any of those images.

And if we get Monica, it had damn well better be

That works quite well of course. And would be easy. And she's not even X-Men related. So maybe.

That would be terrible. Monica is black. That would be about as convincing as

A character you haven't even seen or read? Personally, I think she can get in line since we don't have Dazzler, Tigra, Hellcat, Titania... and so on. Although I think it's more likely we'll see her if she has a new title. Then again, I'm a vintage purist and think all 'new' versions should wait in line!

Well there would obviously need to be some retooling. Although with Land's hair it looks very much like Wasp's hairstyle. Then again that's just one artist's perception and how they draw *eerhmTRACEerrhm* it.

I better not start a Land debate. I'm already feeling bad about my comments from yesterday over the X-Men debate.

I've seen a custom done with a repainted Helix head. Looks just like she did in the Mighty Avengers as Spectrum.

That's power man, not Luke Cage. Different character. He's been around for a few years.

The ultimate spider-man toon used his costume design but gave it to a young Luke Cage.

Ronin is also the only hispanic figure in MU/I technically besides Miles Morales. I was looking at that yesterday, and Maya Lopez Ronin (which with the Ronin costume she outwardly looks male intentionally) was one of the few hispanic figures I could think of in my collection outside of Miles Morales. Was going to ask about that some time ago if anyone else could think of one in MU/I.

Tsk. You remember Miles and forget the original Hispanic Spider-Man, Miguel.

Actually the MU Ronin was Clint Barton, so it's just Miles & Spidey 2099.
But really, who cares how many Hispanics we have? They're only not made because they wouldn't sell well.

Yet we want a White Tiger figure... (And actually even Reptil would be awesome right now with the Jurassic Park stuff going on.)

Yeah, it's the Clint Barton one, but it's the same suit. Literally no changes. Not even a height difference. Hence the 'technically.'

Ooooh good point. I did forget Spidey 2099, the O'hara last name always makes me forget about that.

Hey folks, back again lol. I scored a Blade today on eBay. May fix him up with a new MTF body. Has anyone been using any of these for any figures? May update my Red Skull & some Shield Agents with them as well.
