Yeah, that is a good option and nice idea. I am not gonna bite though, just not worth the investment to me. Still will.get him for him. And $25 is less than £15 so the ChinaBay figures are almost the same price as retail. I think retail is now £13 and for less.than £2 more you get them shipped and a month early...no brainer.

Holy shit this exists? That looks way more badass than the other WatXM figures too. Look at the motherfucker's grin.

Is it actually possible to get this guy for a reasonable price, though?

Why do I not hear about this guy more? He looks like about the best Spider-man in this scale so far. The only flaws I can see are that he's a little on the short side(great for the younger Peter), looks maybe a little odd proportionally due to the small spider chest(and maybe more red on the costume than blue) and has a less than perfect head.

A waist cut might have been nice too but I don't think it's necessary. Plus, he's fairly cheap and easy to find.

Is there some flaw to this figure that I haven't heard of?

There's just something really pleasing about how he looks. Reminds me a bit of the Ultimate Spiderman style when Bagely was drawing it, nice and vivid.

I can't say for sure. The only placed I've found this was a ToyWiZ store in Nyack. It was for $20. But I doubt that's the real price. ToyWiz overprices a lot of things. I'm assuming you could get it on eBay for a good price.

Thanks for that link! And you're talking about this Hydra figure, right?

Whoa! I never knew that Forge existed. Third Party seller had it for $30 on Amazon so I bought it. Considering he's one of my top 10 most wanted for this scale I'm good with that price. I also have Avalanche from that series (in my top 20 wanted) but I haven't explored other figures in that line. They're a little too cartoony but I'm good with them until/if they ever get made in the main line.

I agree. A lot of them are way too cartoonish. There are a few exceptions, such as Forge.

And looking up the line, Forge and Avalanche are the only figures made in that line not made in MU/MI format, so I think that's all I'd be interested in anyways. And only because there aren't any other options.

Found this on ToyWiz. Not sure if it's a mistake or whatever.

This isn't mine, but I just wanted to share it because it freaking rocks...

It looks like the bulk of the figure is an Extremis Iron Man with new hands, upper torso, head and Neutralizer. Pretty simple. I'd LOVE to see Hasbro release this somewhere even if it's a SDCC exclusive or something (like they did the ROM Mighty Muggs last year).

Not surprising consider the site. I've always found some sites to just be much more acceptable in terms of shipping and price than others.

It'd be nice, but it definitely won't happen. Hasbro might have ROM rights but Marvel doesn't, so they won't be doing an Marvel ROM anytime soon.

Actually MU never made a Toad, it's the only one in our scale.

Augh true I totally overlooked Toad.....I hate that design completely though so I'll be passing on that. Wouldn't mind a classic Toad though. Thanks for the correction!

Well, it wouldn't have to be released under any kind of Marvel banner. It can just be a Hasbro exclusive like the Mighty Muggs one was. They can write whatever text legal says they can on the back of the card and we can all just ignore that nonsense when we put the figure on the shelf.

As for the body itself, Mattel seems pretty free and willy-nilly about using DCUC parts for their Masters line at liberty, so I don't see why Hasbro couldn't follow with some parts from their own lines to make him.

Nope.

Mattel has used MotU parts for their DC Line (DKR Batman, 52 Darkseid) but not the other way around. And they can do this because they own MotU, so they can use it for the licensed product. It doesn't work in reverse.

Just like Hasbro can use GI Joe parts (Suited Professor X body, 3-pack Hydra webbing) for MU, but not vice versa. It's a matter of what they own and what is licensed.

Again, not to sound like I'm sponsored, but Vort has a ROM Space Knight kit. If you use a Mark II Iron Man then there is no painting as it is cast in matching silver.
