So I started thinking about how much is out there and available for 3.75 collectors (We got it pretty good). I feel like Hasbro is lettling the line fizzle at the moment so that when they start to support it again we will be thankful, plus there is a lot of source material that will be available well into 2020 so I understand the slight dragging of thier feet.

That being said, what is (in your opinion) the most glaring HOLE in the Marvel 3.75 library?

For me it has to be the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. I mean we have a great Mystique and two acceptable Magnetos and even another classic unmasked version of Mags, but no "team" for them to order around...

I personally love the Blob they did so you have no gripes from me on him except maybe to re-release him so that current collectors can get him at a more acceptable price. But where are PYRO, AVALANCHE, and TOAD!?!?

I made customs of each, but would love a team pack of them. I understand the X-Ban, but there was plenty of time to release them when X-men were still being supported. The last team packs announced were the Astonishing X-men pack and the Asgardian pack. I know that Emma is a must have at this point, but I personally would have preferred more Bad Guys than a repack, new paint job, and Emma Frost.

What do you think is odd that has yet to be made, it could be something that is slated that hasn't realesed yet too. Maybe others can't wait to get that Northstar.

Crossbones...head and ROC Ultimate Roadblock body...is great...this custom of Crossbones is just AWESOME.
I find it ironic that Crossbones head works on the Rocks body with him;Crossbones being a Neo-nazi.
But the Rock forgets he's black like 40 % of the time so I guess it works...lol

And I agree big surprise the Brotherhood was never made...sidenote...ever wonder why villain teams used "evil" or "villain" in their name..especially..the brotherhood...I thought their whole gimmick was to not be oppressed...kind of hard to make ppl want you around whenyou have the word evil in your name.
Could you imagine the Avengers changing their name to "the really really good guys" :-)

That was another thing I really liked about the "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" cartoon. Zemo never used the "...of Evil" part of the name. When asked, he just told Captain America, "We are your MASTERS." And that's all the team was ever called throughout. Loved it.

I put together an urban destructible environment using CMU blocks. For anyone who wants to try this out for themselves, its very cheap in cost to build. /tmp_8189-20150812_140947-2077899515_zps5ium2lpy.jpg.html][/URL]

I agree, it's like when they "killed" legends to build demand. they play with us more than we play with there merchandise.
as far as glairing holes in my collection:
1. Fantom-X
2. Sabertooth MI (preferably a slimmer first appearance look)
3. any mystical villians, someone for Blade, Strange, and GR to fight.
4. Shi'ar, anything! an undiscussed result of the X embargo has been a complete sanitizing of the Shi'ar from the record. at least lalandra and Death bird.
4. minions for Apocalypse, some Horsemen or the Revers would be nice.
5. Clint barton. Goliath I hardly ever even see people make customs of him.
6. the last two missing X-men: Forge and Banshee. they were mainstays for at least a decade each, no figures, but Thunder bird, who was in like 2 comics gets a figure? his biggest contribution was pissing off his brother by dying, and giving us Warpath.
7. 90's Storm
8. 90's Jubilee
9. Morph (cartoon version)
10. ANYTHING AOA!

I totally agree about the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Here's what I feel are big missing figures in this line. I'm ignoring the X-ban for just now just because. And these are not necessarily MY most wanted (though some are) these are to me what are the most important/high profile characters Marvel has that haven't been done.

X-Men Villains - Lady Deathstrike, Pyro, Avalanche. There are some others I want badly as well but c'mon, these three really need to be done.

X-Men - As much as I want a Polaris figure, I get that she may not be a priority for many. But I cannot just toss her away like that. So I'm going to say Polaris, Forge and Domino, and to a lesser extent Cannonball and Magik (though I personally also want Moonstar.)

Fantastic Four - I can really only think of Wizard and Annihalus.

Avengers: We have a lot of Avengers. So really I'm thinking we're mostly good on these, but if I had to pick one I'd say Monica R. Though I'd really love a Justice just so we can finish out the Kurt Busiek lineup.

Avengers and Avengers Members Villains: Viper. I do want a Morgan Le Fay. I do want a Graviton and Count Nefaria and a Madame Masque and all those other great figures. But Viper is really to me the ONLY Avengers-centric villain not yet made/revealed/ that NEEDS to be done.

General Marvel Hereos: I really can't think of any to be honest.

General Marvel Villains: Perhaps Attuma and Maximus The Mad might take second and third on this, but I think (along with Viper) the most glaring omission in this line up is: Kingpin. Not even a figure in my top 20 wanted list, but I really have to question for prominance, why the frack we don't have a Kingpin yet.

I think that's about it. I'd love some more mutants, some more Alpha Flight and getting started on the Thunderbolts, but really, I'd say they're not the biggest holes in the collection.

So what does that add up to: Lady Deathstrike, Avalanche, Pyro, Forge, Polaris, Domino, Monica R., Viper, Wizard, Annihalus, and Kingpin, would, to me, cover the most obvious missing characters. Everything else is just a personal want. These 11 characters are pretty much necessary.

Edit: I guess I'd add in Tigra as well. She's not as high on my list but she seems to be a staple of classic Avengers, so I feel like most people probably want to see her made more than I do. So that's 12 figures.

Back in the 90s I made a TON of custom figures, including the good Mr. Barton here...

I always felt there should be more cosmic characters. Quasar, Moondragon, Ronan, Annihilus, the Inhumans they didn't do, and the Magus. Stuff like that.

I have made some of the people off of every list so far, lol.

I agree that it is weird to have Thunderbird and no Banshee or Forge!

I wish we got another X-Force pack with the remaing members, maybe Domino, Fantom X, and new paint on Cable or Pyslocke.

BMORR YOU ANGER ME WITH YOUR YELLOW GOLIATH!!! It's like you are dangling the carrot in front of me, but I will continue to be patient and eventually find him at a respectable price....

KINGPIN! I hated his 5" toybiz figure from the 90's, but it was a must have since it is Kingpin a major Nemesis to numerous heroes...

And I bet we see The Magus sooner than later, if he is part of the new Infinity War when they start that story arc.

90s Jubilee is an easy custom, so that would be a wasted figure. Forge we technically got, but a proper MU figure would be good. Banshee I'm surprised we never got.
90s Storm I'd be down with. But seriously? Morph? When was the last time they gave us a cartoon-specific figure?

My personal list would be;
- Lady Deathstrike
- Baron Strucker
- Viper
- Sin
- Uatu The Watcher
- Veranke (Simple new head)
- Noh Varr (To complete the Dark Avengers)
- Victoria Hand
- The Hood
- The rest of Planet Hulk's Warbound
- Phil Coulson
- The Phoenix Five
- Magik
- Maria Hill (Regular release)
- Updated Classic Vision (I don't care that it might devalue the Rare one, it's a terrible figure anyway. Makes him look short and fat)
- Johnny Storm to match Reed, Sue, & Ben
- Scott Lang Ant Man
- Orignal Avenger Ant Man & Wasp to complete the team
- Original X-Men
- Professor X in an actual wheelchair
- Quake
- Modern Rogue
- Modern Mockingbird
- Sharon Carter
- Toad, Avalanche, & Pyro
- Hope Summers
- Domino
- Polaris
- Jessica Jones
- Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel/Spectrum
- Jocasta
- NOW! Cyclops
- White Tiger
- Agent Venom
- General Ross
- Bruce Banner
- Moonstone
- Daken
- Scorpion

And many, many more.

Looking through the lists I realized something, there is no pleasing everyone, lol. I'm easy going, meaning that if they throw us a bone I'm cool with it even if it is not exactly what I wanted. I would prefer 90's storm in her white outfit all day (I would prefer 90s costumes for everyone though....), but seeing as how we have 3 storms already I feel like I'm fine with how she has been represented. Same with Captain Marvel, the fact that we already have 4 Captain Marvels and at SDCC they showed us a new one is really not my cup of tea. Though I understand a lot of people want her. I think Hasbro should focus more on incomplete teams and new people rather than update versions of figures we already have, but that is just my 2 cents.

Those paint jobs on those Goliaths are ace, UrsaMagnus

I would love to see some proper symbiots; non-Spiderman toyline Brock Venom, anti-venom variant, agent venom, Toxin, and Carnage. I have all the Spiderman line, but the articulation sucks and venom's knees don't bend.

I agree. Though I do have to say the 90's Storm is one of the rare exceptions I would make. But everyone else, I'd rather see completely new characters than re-dos of existing ones even if they're completely different costumes.

You traitor to all that is Modern Marvel.

In some respects I agree. Banshee & Forge are needs, as are the Brotherhood. But we get another Red Spidey, Captain America, or Hulk instead.

But then, I don't understand all the people who complain that we've got so many Iron Men, Wolverines, Deadpools, & Cyclops' despite the fact that we've now got most of their costumes, whereas people are always asking for more Storms, Johnny Storm, and another bloody Sabretooth that's a bit slimmer? You can't have it both ways, either we get loads of character variations, or we don't and you get one version.

Just a little bit of some lazy customs love. Have a good bit of figures/fodder in the mail so i'll post as I get/build.
- Union Jack has Steve Rogers arms, legs & chest belt thing. This is seriously one of my fav figs now. I think he looks awesome.
- Black Panther, Nova lower legs & AA BW bracelets.
- Loki was just me messing around & I think it looks cool enough for me to keep. SDCC Baron Zemo hands, belt & feet with Mysterio's legs. The green is a bit off but it's ok. Mysterios legs were actually supposed to go on the newer Iron Fist but I don't have him yet.

I saw Black Cat and the red suit Daredevil both for $9.99 at TRU today. I wanted to buy the Daredevil but I had to walk out with nothing because I was missing freaking 88 cents. I wanted to bring up the manager but it wasn't worth it. Freaking tax! But, I did get a loose MU Scarlet With for $10 today, which is really cool!

Well played sir, as it happens I have a Union Jack and spare Steve Rogers legs. I'll give it a go.
I gave those Widow bracelets to Wasp instead. I do need some vibranium purple dagger things for him.

Can I ask, what would that have done? You couldn't afford it, so they didn't sell it to you.

I was on one of those ToysRUs.com chats and I was told that if there was an issue with the price that I could contact the manager or do the 'Price Match Guarantee' thing.

That wouldn't get them to cut out tax so there's nothing the manager could've done but offered to hold them for you temporarily while you got the extra needed cash, and that's assuming that the manager is nice enough to do that.
