I'd say wait til he's cheaper at retail. Then you'll need to drill a hole in his hand to hold an axe or sword.
When eventually get him I'll stick him with my Agents of SMASH.

I think a proper re-do is in order, I just happen to prefer his old look. I just get peeved when I have a mismatched team from different realities, eras, or teams! sorry but you don't have a 90's X team without Storm in white! and who plans to stand Halo Gamora in with there Guardians and be 100% satisfied? your list is Chick heavy, with Hasbro's MO of releasing one woman every two waves by 2056 your dreams will come true, Civilians ( Bruce, Ross) won't go over with the kid market no one wants to be the powerless old man, hell give they should us an emaciated Steve Rodgers!
I'm just saying people need to stop complaining about character variations or updates when their very list contains character variations and updates. And Bruce and ross would sell just as well as Mary Jane, if not much better. And Ross is no more a powerless old man than Old Ben Kenobi, Gandalf, or Dumbledore, and we got 3.75"s of those. Pack him like a GI Joe - full of weapons, dressed as a soldier - and he'd sell brilliantly. Bruce Banner is no different to wanting a non-stretched Reed Richards.

Yeah, we won't be getting a guy with a swastika on his chest. I don't think we'll get a White Fury ever again now that he's been replaced by Sam Jackson. Kid Loki seems likely with his popularity.

I reckon AoU Quicksilver comes under the X-Men embargo, that's why we've only got a Minimate & a Hot Toys but no Funko, All Stars, 2.5", or any publicity with him.
Igor is forever shelved, the IM3 buzz is long gone.
Skurge I heard is coming the wave after next, but this is rumour.

That's a bitch, where did you get to I'll tell you how long you had left. You missed 2 awesome after-credit scenes.

UKMU, when you go on about combining Absorbing Mans to make the definitive one, do you mean this -

Or the reverse, with all flesh but grey trousers?

Hey I've seen that before. The kickstarter figures will eventually be for sale. Those male figures I just poster are new colors people have been asking for & will be available in October if the goal for them is met. Right now they are trying to get their female characters made. They're really nice figures btw.

The one and only time I went to the theater in the US was for Iron Man 2... after 10 minutes of movie everything stopped. "technical issues" was the only answer we got, and we've been refound.
Back in France, I watched the movie... and hated it. Maybe it was a sign?

And since we're on our fantasy lists...
Easy next figures they should do:
-Radioactive Man
-Tiger Shark
-Fantomex (repaint of Hydra goon + ROC Artctic Storm Shadow coat)
-Polaris (Aurora repaint)
-Dazzler (Dagger repaint)
-Hydroman (Sandman repaint)
-Thundra & Titania (She-Hulk repaints)
-Tony Stark

Radioactive Man Tigershark we got in the SDCC Masters of Evil set, they don't release exclusives again without altering them.
Stark we got in movie form, but is there a massive difference?
They're not even using the HYDRA goon body anymore, so that would be nonsense. The head yes, perhaps on a Daredevil body, but most likely on that new Big Time Spider-Man body everyone gets now.

I would like a Titania to go with Absorbing Man though, someone here does a great custom.

^ IM2 and 3 are my least favorite MCU movies, which is odd cuz the 1st one was awesome and the catalyst for the rest of the movies.

Well in a way it is a money problem, they only have so much money and they'd rather spend way more of it on the 6" toys than the 3.75" ones. It's like they were told "you have $X to make action figures for Marvel" and the Hasbro guy was like "okay I'll use three-fourths of that for the Legends line, and the rest will be split between the 3.75 stuff and those crappy little two inch things."
I think its a little bit of both. I just saw the new GI joe 2 packs (TRU exclusives) that have 2 figures, stands, and a boat load of accessories for $12.99 and the 3 packs for $19.99 and the figures are fully articulated. When someone doesn't care for something in a corporation they can be petty about it.

The argument I've heard Stall make is that regardless of the fact that these figures are only 1/3 of the size of Legends, they still require an equivalent amount of tooling and paint costs. So in order to keep the price at a level the stores are willing to sell them at (around $10-$12 or so) they have to cut a TON of things like articulation and accessories to keep the costs at that level. Because otherwise we'd be spending $20 for a 3.75" figure, which I think none of us wants or is willing to do. Again, this is all from him (see his SDCC interview with ShartimusPrime and an interview at Marvelousnews).

Couple that with the fact that unlike Joe (which Hasbro owns), Hasbro has to pay a fee to use these characters, and we get the decline in the figures we've seen while the Legends keeps going up and up.

Quite frankly, I call (a certain amount of) bullsh!t on this. When Neitliech (or however his damn name was spelled) ran the DCUC for Mattel, he was first and foremost a MOTUC guy and it showed in his bias toward the lines. Stall is demonstrating the same attitudes here.

When Neitliech left Mattel and the DCUC line ended I was hoping I was done with that kind of bias. Obviously not.

When Hasbro announced they were developing this line, the possibilities seemed endless. I was excited, and I made the choice to jump in full-force. I sold my Legends figures (that wouldn't be useful at this scale) and embraced it. Now I feel like I've been betrayed, and I refuse to dance to their tune and go back to Legends. It would be far too costly to try to catch up at this point.

^ that green goblin from the first TASM line is probably my favorite green goblin. he's not as articulated as the other versions but he looks the best to me.

I would gladly spend $20 (possibly more) on a figure if it was a quality figure of a brand new never released character. I go back to the suggestion that this line would be best served as being a subscription line (or in additon to). Making a choice, either 12 or 24 figures a year, $25 a figure, all new never done before characters or dramatic costume changes only, with decent articulation and accessories. Repaints are acceptable on a rare occurance but should not be the default offerings, and repaints using parts of various figures could be partially acceptable, but we'd definintely want some new molds in there as well.

Maybe I'm bitter. I feel there not not a lot of support and enjoyment for them in making this line. And it shows, IMO. And as a customer, if I feel they don't put an effort into making this line, why should I make an effort to buy into it? SDCC choices - there were maybe 6-7 figures they showed I'm planning on getting, and only one on my want list and very low at that, equals very little enthusiasm from me towards this line for the next year. WHich I guess mirrors hasbro's own enthusiasm towards it. But if they were charging twice as much and the customer was willing to pay it for figures done right, maybe they and we would have more faith in the product.

This one would make for a pretty good Sgt Fury, for example, he's just missing a stogie and a Thompson
where do they sell those? that does look like he'd make for a pretty good sgt. fury.

Damn there is a lot of negativity as of late. We know the line is not in it's prime as it once was. But there is some pretty damn awesome 3.75" figures out there. Both the MTF & H.A.C.K's line are amazing. Pick & choose the MU/MI you want and support these other more detailed lines. Hell make some kitbashes. I'm a 3.75" guy. I'll prob never jump on the 6" line. The figures are nice and all but they don't do ot for me. The 3.75" brings me back to the days of my brother & I having massive battles across our house as kids. Anyway if the line ends, then I save money & can get on my dio. If it doesn't I'll continue to pick up the figs I want & build lazy customs/kitbashes. Seriously though, go check out those other figures.

This is true. I think the next year is going to be a time when I sit down and finally learn to customize and improve my painting skills. Of course, I need my dozen or so Emma Frosts to help with that but aside from that I mean.

Also maybe time to go back and buy seconds of figures for customizing parts.

You mean this comic version? It satisfies my Sabertooth pretty well though. Glad I finally picked him up too, I passed on this pack a few times, when these used to peg warm.

My favorte Sabretooth is the short haired version, but it only came in a deluxe pack with Wolvie and his Motorcycle. I didn't like the metallic shine so I head swapped that head onto the comic pack and painted the brown to match. I love it and IMO is the best comic Sabretooth.

Sorry it is a bit pixelated...
