Dammit. Now I think I'm going to need to track that thing down.

Also Mutantkind, once again beautiful pictures sir. And even though I have less than no desire for Marvel Select figures, you're doing a damn fine job of making me want them just for the accessories.

I bought that Iron Man loose off of Taobao. In fact, I have a spare if you want to work out a trade. I did not get the hoverboard, though. Here is a pic for size comparison:

Ross had boatloads of these back in December (before Christmas). That was the only time I know of that set being released in the U.S.

Hey ya'll, heres the better pics as promised.
Im really loving this Vision - might not be everyones cup of tea but I think he fits quite nicely with the other MCU figures.

Nice collection TheLongestDay; that Vision looks pretty decent, especially the cape.

Definitely picking this guy up when I find him, Wanda too, she's growing on me.
The head and cape collar are going on my custom, I'll paint the red bits more magenta and add the movie detail I left off. He'll look great with these bits.
Then I think I'll add the Wanda head to the MU Witch and a Rogue/Storm jacket too. A kinda movie/comic mishmash

Sounds cool mate! The cape on vision would look amazing with a simple wash to bring those details out.

I'm gonna post some pics of Ultron Mark 1 later. He is actually a pretty good figure. He's one of those characters that don't suffer from having 5 points of articulation. His most iconic poses were him holding the head of one of the Iron Legion robots and him just putting his hand out. I was able to get him to do all of this pretty easy and it looks really nice. Also, the details on him were done surprisingly well. If someone touched this guy up with some more paint to add to the detail he would be an amazing figure.

He's actually pretty decent. Also, what cape did you use on that Thor in the last pic?

A darker wash, A logo on chest Armour, left arm in more of a bent position, maybe bend him over to have a hunch, then he'd be perfect.

You just wait til I get one.

Thanks for the pics longest day. Sculpt and paint look good on scarlet witch and vision. I just wish they would have thrown us a bone and add articulation at a minimum like the 2012 avengers movie figures (when hasbro actually gave a fek about 3.75" action figure collectors) or winter soldier ones at least on the new members... That vision is good for hailing a cab at least.

I found a weird Ice Man in a box of figures and I just realized that it's the X-Factor Ice Man. It's there for $10. How much would that thing be worth? Should I get it?

This fig and vision are figures that don't need a ton of articulation in my opinion. I have this guy and to be honest I hope to find a few more as they'd make a great action scene with someone fighting the iron legion and maybe 3-4 of these guys to make it look like a real beating is happening.

is it the box set version, or the single carded? (if he's clear it's single, if he's white then it's box set) if it's the box set version does it have the containment belt? any way you cut it it's not a bad price, a quick check on ebay shows most 3.75" ice men going for between 16 and 30 bucks (with shipping). my personal litmus test for loose figures is look it up on ebay, check price lowest to highest with shipping and just look at what people are actually paying for that item. of course you always have the occasional insane person that puts something that's worth 20 bucks or so up for 5000, but no one will bid on it. personally I think every collection needs an ice man, I prefer the all white (no chest X) only because he's more versatile look for any team. the X logo is pretty specific to x factor.

It's the white one with the belt.

^ that's not a bad deal I would go for it if you just want the iceman figure. Otherwise I would splurge on the entire box set.

Or baptizing cap, falcon, Hawkeye, and black widow. Not sure if Thor is a god or not so he might not baptize him.

Looks more like hes preforming an exorsim in that pose than a baptism to me. Then again I don't remember all the religious ceromonys from church.
