Any suggestions what to use for a Jessica Jones figure? Just anything with dark hair that could look good for a modern detective type I guess...

Could probably just use the whole figure as a stand-in actually, just paint over the symbols. The hair's a bit too flat, though, makes her look more like Spiderwoman. Probably an easy fix though. The MU Spiderwoman has overly curly hair so I may do a transplant.

Beware the body thetans!

Also I saw that avengers playmation lab at TRU. Also saw a commercial for those playmation figures today, full on marketing blitz. If they had proper articulation I'd buy them as some of them scale ok like the super adaptoid. The way they are now are an easy pass.

it seems like 3 people in the world don't know all these silly toys are made in china anyway. Getting it from some american store doesn't make it anymore official or "legit" as he put it. But hey.... whatever....

I don't think it upset him, I think it pissed him off that you willingly remain ignorant of the facts, even when they're handed to you on a plate.

No one is upset or pissed off. relax lads. its a toy forum. I just find it funny how people think there is a difference between the "bootleg" from china and so called "official" american version. They are all the same toy. lol

Well sometimes the Chinese "bootlegs" are actually bootlegs/knockoffs but it's usually super obvious like missing articulation and a flashlight in the chest for some reason.

I'd have to find some way to give her some jeans, like her Netflix counterpart. I know the GI Joe Renegades Scarlett figure is wearing jeans.

Sometimes the bootlegs meet or exceed the quality of the carded figures, at least the ones from the same factory (not the straight up bootleg knock offs like that hulkbuster or venom). They don't have a chance to get warped by the packaging.

I scoured the Internet to see if anyone had the next wave up for preorder. I can't wait to see how that new yondu/triton buck holds up.

I feel like we should all agree to say "factory extras" when referring to production line toys that are sold unofficially. Bootleg implies that the actual making of the item is what is unofficial.

There are about six or more shops less than five miles from my house with them and I live in small town.

I have also had bad luck, I recently bought a Mysterio from from chinabay after being well impressed with the Deadpool i bought, well the helmet came already loose to the point it is a really bad fit and i can't get it to stay on and purple paint splattered all over the helmet and can't get him to stand up right, by the way did anyone know that Mysterio's head is the same as Chameleons when you take the helmet off. Very poor figure and don't think i'll being going this route again.

Even with the official release it takes very little effort to pop the helmet and cape off just to take a look. Of course the cape makes him extremely top heavy but just adjusting his pose allows the cape to support him. Mysterio may not have his grid pattern but I still really like this figure, the paint is clean and putting a stretched cotton ball around his feet makes for a great fog effect.

Hey team a local store just picked up a pretty decent MU collection.

They had already sold a few of the SDCC things and other exclusives, but here is the first MOC Solid Vision I have seen since I started collecting MU and also the only Baghead I have ever seen in person MOC. The prices were a bit high in my eyes, but it has been so long that I have priced them out that I guess they were resonable, just glad I already found them for my collection!

My only pick up was Ultimate Cap SDCC 2010
