I have the same exact problems with those damned ReAction toys. I remember some guy on this thread modding them and making them perfect.

I wish the DW figures were just a little bit taller.

Asajj Ventress would work for Nebula, you're right. Just need to paint on the cybernetic parts.

I'm not sure that Black Panther is a re-release at all.
The back of the card shows he has no wrist articulation!

His left hand looks like it has it. That and this isn't a great image and Hasbro can edit any pictures on the packaging.

Looking closely at it, I see articulation there.

Kinda wish he had 2 claw hands, though.

If it does, I can't see it. It's a bit hard to tell.

I think it's just an optical illusion due to the flash on the abs.
However this could also mean no Civil War toys and this is their way of making something relevant.

I think it will be a straight repaint of the light up base figure, no belt unless it's painted on.
I'd be happy to see just comic based toys but still relevant to Civil War, hell I just want to see more.

I wouldn't mind them sticking with the Ant-Man route actually. One movie accurate figure for whatever new character appears. In Civil War's case Black Panther.

Really I'm just hoping there will be a Dr. Strange movie figure. I love the dark mystical side of Marvel. Midnight Sons for life.

I'm sad that it took more than a second for me to realize what this line-up was for.

Also welcome to the Ark.

It would be cool if the figure matched the card art and they added a necklace, or maybe an infinity gauntlet or something to make the repack worthwhile to collectors.

The Playmation figures are half price on DisneyStore.com. Now would be a good time to get any that you want.

I see two ways to get free shipping. A $75+ order will do it,

OR

Use the promo code SHIPNEW *and* order at least one item from the "new arrivals" list. If you do that, your whole order ships free, regardless of amount.

For example, the Elite die-cast Rey/BB-8 is listed in that section if you have been looking for it, so you can order that and some Playmation figures and get free shipping.

Play with the brightness and you can see - definitely no belt. Looks like a LUB Black Panther repack but without the blue metallic highlights.

This is one of the better repack choices, in my opinion. That figure was somewhat hard to find and is a good figure. Also, blank black bodies are useful for customizers. Much better than the Iron Man Mark I repaint.

How about a top five wanted repack/repaint list from everyone? Vision probably won't happen, but surely there are some other good choices that would be good for collectors and good for sales.

I'll start:

1. Quicksilver (will have been in 3 movies soon)
2. Wasp with red/blue color scheme and silverish wings (she kind of pegwarmed, but issue this at the same time as a movie she is in with similar colors)
3. Hydra goon/SHIELD agent from the 75th anniversary 3-pack (army building goodness)
4. the Black Widow variants - maybe the short haired version on a gray body
5. white shirt Luke Cage - his mini series is coming up

You miss the point of exclusives. They're not exclusive if you then sell them, we're not getting the Widows or Cage ever.
And Quicksilver is an X-Men character more than he's an Age of Ultron character, they won't do him. They're only doing Rogue to make it seem like there's no embargo, but we haven't had any other X or F4 merchandise for over a year I believe.
Wasp in the film will have the same black and gold as the pegwarming MI figure, the after credits scene showed her suit, it's the same. Any other colour scheme wouldn't be anywhere near the movie.

Emma Frost first showed up without a cape, he might still have a belt.

Don't know if you remember that there's actually a glossy and matte version...

Ah, our resident contrarian. You may be right about exclusives to retail chains or events like conventions, but the Widows and Cage are not exclusives in that sense - they were one-offs for Hasbro employees.

Besides, if anything, only the paint schemes are "exclusive." Light up base Black Panther was a TRU exclusive, yet here he is again in the main line with a slight paint modification. Storm was a 35th anniversary TRU exclusive until released as a single card with minor cosmetic changes. Baron Zemo was also reissued with a minor change.

As for the X-Men "embargo," Bishop, Colossonaut, two versions of Beast, Northstar, Deadpool (in X-Men uniform no less), and Emma Frost were all in the past year.

Rather than trying to poo-poo my list, why not offer you own list instead?

I'll echo these choices. Having a kinda-classic Wasp would be awesome (though I'd personally prefer the blue-and-white asymmetrical Pérez outfit), but the possibility of getting those S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents out in order to army build them again would be a dream come true. Currently, I use Joes to fill that niche but having actual Agents would be even better.

As for straight repacks/repaints, truthfully I can't think of any. The issue I run into is all the stuff I'd like to see could be shown and released as new figures entirely. For example...

> Death's Head repainted with new head and tweaks as Ronan and/or Odin.
> Hercules with new head, feet and tweaks as human Beast.
> White Avengers West Vision.
> Invisible Woman in Classic & Negative Zone FF costumes.

...stuff like that.

Well the upcoming Vision is on one of the new bucks and uses the "Jonas" look. I like for Hasbro to make a new Adam Warlock based on either his GotG look or his current look in Starlin's new stuff.
