Cool. I bet you could paint the inside of the hood pink and put a little pink on the shoulders and she'd be pretty set. I can't fathom why Hasbro would not do something like this.

Yeah, Young Thor is going to have his trusty axe. And also belt. That ebay listing is quite incomplete, I would advise against buying it (high price notwithstanding).

So Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson are both going to be Captain America. Steve is going with a very MCU and Ultimates uniform. He is leaving the shield with Sam, and adopting a shield shaped like his original shield - but with a modern deco.

So the question: Is there a 4 inch Cap with a Triangle shield? I may try my hand at customizing one.

Marvel Announces Steve Rogers to Return as Captain America | Comic Book Resources For anyone else curious about this.

As for the shield. The classic one was released a couple times in this scale(patriot and first appearance Cap), but you'll need to tweak it and repaint it. I think I'll wait until Hasbro covers it in the scale though eventually, because the new shield seems to have a lot of action features that they'd make use of in subsequent toy releases.

Kind of like how the Cap toy line had all those various shields, and actually, it looks like 2 of those toy shields are what helped inspire this change. The split shield one, and the spring bladed ones. Only the idea was re-adapted to his classic shield and then given a new paint job.

They should have given Steve his original shield or at least made it circular, any others doesn't move as good as that one

It was a given (at least to me) that Steve would be back eventually. Funny about the shield, functionality over style I suppose.
Just finished watching that 75th Anniversary Captain America special... wow it was really good. Looking at all the cap costumes and representations over the decades was great (I'm surprised they skipped over his "the Captain" look/story tho and cap of the 1950's). I wouldn't mind if hasbro relesed some of these alternate versions, including the serial version that was only packing heat.

I'm thinking that MU and its 6 inch older brother will get this suit made. They've probably got a movie mold or two that they can recycle for that.

That news is a shocking surprise...said no one ever. Toy oriented I'd like to see whatever the new look will be (not really following comics now since last year) but my understanding is Steve has the squarish triangle/pentagon looking shield and Sam has the classic shield?

Yes, but that may have been in the box set, however it was reused for the Patriot figure that was done on the Bucky buck.

Thinking about trying to assemble the Young Avengers. Any recommendations for a 6 inch female that could be Stature with very little paint? Head swaps are no problem. I'm thinking of tracking down one of the old Teen Iron Man figures from the Armored Avengers for the Slimmer Iron Lad. Kate will probably be an X-23. Hulking a Hulk figure with repainted hair and parts swaps. Any other ideas?

Yeah it looks like they can get that look pretty easily with a movie figure repainted for 4 inch.

Looks like there is at least an articulated Falcon and Cap coming from Civil War. I don't have a photo sharing account right now, but I'm sure pics will hit the web soon. I saw it on on a secret FB page. Sam is in new colors with what looks like attachable wings. Articulation looks similar to Ant Man. Not sure if Cap is new - I doubt but he is packed with a motorcycle.

Edit:

Thanks for pics. I like the figures, but I wish we were getting just a few more. Is that Falcon condsidered a deluxe figure? Or could it be part of a wave? Articulated movie Scarlett Witch, Spider Man, Crossbones, Panther, Falcon along with Deluxe Cap and Bike.

Meh at least it's an accurate looking Cap this time. Would've been nice to get this one in that TRU two-pack with Widow.

I know right. Well we only got one set for ant-man... Now we get 2 for civil war so it doubled lol. Who knows maybe by avengers 3 we will get 4 figures and something real crazy like oh I don't know vision, scarlet witch, or a decent villian.

nice to see they didn't attach falcon's wings to his arms like the one from the winter soldier line.

Ultimate Spider Woman is a great burgundy base body.

Couple that with a Sharon Carter head (her wave is just coming out).
