With the current Inhumans scenario I've got friends who only know of them through the show and it's kinda frustrating since there are at least plans for a movie eventually but said friends are like "so is Daisy the leader of all Inhumans?" and I'm like "no that would Black-Bolt, the guy who lived on the moon and comes from a line of British-style inbreeding with a voice that can wreck planets." Nah that totally doesn't sound ridiculous.
I'm more disappointed that Rocket Raccoon won't be Australian anymore, tbh. All because of that kinda mediocre movie(just my opinion).

And since Blackbolt is one of the few Inhumans that I like, I find that whole Daisy thing insulting, even though I haven't watched Agents of Shield since season 1.

Sounds like conversations I had with friends when Ant-Man was announced and I got excited.

Something along the lines of:
Them-"That sounds ****ing stupid."
Me-"Nu-uh! It's ****ing awesome!"
Them-"It's a dude that talks to ants."
Me-"Talks to ants AND kicks the **** out of you. Just wait for the movie. It's gonna kick ass."

And then the movie kicked ass. I think Paul Rudd being cast helped me sell it a bit too. Now I have the problem of explaining Giant-Man though. And Yellowjacket not being a bad guy in the comics.

Damn when you really think about it Hank was a really complicated character. Probably why I've always preferred Scott. Burglar with a heart of gold. So much simpler.

Bradley Cooper's voice doesn't bother me since nobody in the comics ever really described what Rocket sounds like so it was just whichever different cartoons giving him different voices to that point. Australian sounds weird thinking about it since Australia isn't known for having raccoons, they're native to North America but are only found in areas like the northern UK and Japan because they were brought there. I always imagined him having a gruff British accent because he was named after the Beatles song.

I thought Yellowjacket was kind of a bad guy when he first appeared (albeit Pym in disguise).

As for the movies, I'm glad they are branching out with Dr. Strange. I would love if marvel studios would dip it's toes into some other genres... Horror (werewolf by night, zombie/zombies, living mummy etc), sword and sorcery (black night, Excalibur), scifi horror (deaths head is to terminator as deathlok is to robocop?), space stuff (Adam warlock, krees vs skulls, captain mar-vell), spy thrillers like winter soldier (secret avengers?), Greek mythology (Hercules vs ares), Kung fu (Shang chi and iron fist) all sorts of stuff would be great with accompanying toy lines or course.

Fair enough. It was mainly explaining how it's Hank in the comics but Cross in the movie. But if they had Scott fight a giant pink man and the movie probably wouldn't have been as good. Anyway yeah flip a coin and you'll know whether Hank's a hero that day or not.

And you give me Ghost Rider you'll see the happiest camper you've ever seen.

A british racoon is no weirder than a big pink hippo-esque alien with a green ring and joisey accent. same here en. i liked cooper in the movie. I thought he was a pretty decent voice but i could envision gerrard butler or even hugh laurie as his voice.

Kinda on a galactic note....i dunno if he'll ever get into the mcu, especially since gotg director gunn seems to hate nova, but i kinda envision ian sommerhalder as rick rider?

I've been thinking about getting this figure for a while to use as an orc. I'll pick one up and see if I can find a good bald head that would work with it.

He did in the EMH cartoon. I think he sounded like that in the early Ultimate Spider-man episodes as well.

Oh sorry like DarkToyLord said it is a Mattel WWE El Torito figure that is about the same stature as Hornswaggle. So it should be a bulky 4"-4.5" figure. Amazon.com: WWE Series #42 - #45 El Torito Figure: Toys & Games

In Fact here is both of them together in the same pack

Thank goodness we got a good Ben reilly scarlet spider. The new kaine one looks like crap... Look at those eyes :

Hasbro, PLEASE go back to the old bucks, like the Jim lee cyclops and Hercules buck and throw the scarlet spidey one in the trash. If you can do it with the first appearance daredevil surely you can do it on the other new figures.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: I don't like the name Scarlet Spider! From now on you're Gomer Kaine.
