Picked up BP and Agent 13 today at TRU.
Agent 13 uses a retooled Avengers Black Widow figure. New torso and arms. She has full articulation though including thigh swivel, rocker ankles and swivel wrists. Plus she has the typical GI Joe style ball joint elbows so no need for bicep swivel. She makes me hope they do the rest of the SHIELD agents from Agents of in this style. Black Panther seems a mix of the new Infinite/Legends 4'' style articulation. Great leg articulation though swivel thighs would have been nice. He can barely do cat like poses. If they do a retooled version for Infinity war, he needs wrist swivel and head tilt minimum plus thigh swivels. Overall a great detailed figure though and I almost want to get another for my Comic based shelf. Kind of hope they do a single carded repack of him with the silver parts painted gold for a more comic design feeling. Overall, love the two pack though. If this is the future for MCU offerings, I'm behind it 100 percent. My only complaint at all is that for the cost, they should come with a little extra gear. Like Black Panther having a T'Challa unmasked extra head. Really hope they decide to do 2 packs like this for the other movies, and even the TV shows/Netflix series. Agent 13 makes for a great base for a Jessica Jones figure, and they can use the original Black Widow mold for Melinda May and Daisy Johnson with some minor arm tweaks. Potentially even Bobbi Morse if they use some additional webgear like trimmed up Wraith armor to remove the shoulder pads. Kind of wish they'd do two packs like this for all the movies now. The Fox ones too. Really impressed with the two pack. I'll try and get some pictures up later. |

Old Man Logan arrived in the mail today. Really happy that I got this guy for around $10. The only downsides were that the seller was from the Netherlands so the shipping was $20, and the seller used a sharpie to cover the stuff in between the claws. I tried to get it our with nail polish remover, but I couldn't get everything out. On the bright side, it kind of gives it a grimy look.

Same price as the ones that come with comics though. So more accessories, at least where it makes sense, would be nice. Like an extra T'Challa unmasked head. It'd make up for that cost difference of no comic.

I could do with a proper 3.75" Kilgrave too.

Vortious Bus Driver head is great for May but haven't found a good Daisy head. As for Kilgrave, don't think you'll find anything better than the Character Options 10th Doctor David Tennant figure!

This kind of release could work really well overall as two packs. Each agent of shield paired up to a costumed hero or villain release. Maybe even some of the Aliens or Asgardians too.
Like Melinda May with Hive's alien form with optional grant ward normal head. Daisy Johnson/Quake with Deathlok. Coulson with Sif or captain america. Maria Hill with Tony Stark. IM3 ending Pepper Potts with Ironman. Daredevil with Elektra. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Bobbi Morse in full on mockingbird gear with a Hunter figure. Something like that would be awesome. Or maybe pair them up with movie characters to make it more likely a retailer would want to support such a line. Like Hawkeye with Mockingbird. Black Widow with Hunter. Captain america with Coulson. Ironman with Maria Hill. And so on like that, so each is covered but has the 'mainstay' draw that'd be needed to get them on shelves on bigger retailers. Not sure, tossing random ideas out. Love the BP/Agent 13 two pack that much. Last edited by Snowflakian; 06-16-2016 at 07:24 PM.. |

Hope they show up on Amazon soon. The closest TRU is a good drive away from here and most of the time it's not worth the trip.

Picked up the Black Panther and Sharon Carter set today. They're pretty impressive. I also picked up the 5-poa MCU Scarlet Witch and Vision single figures.
Wish we got more MCU 2-packs. There are more than enough figures needed. |

They don't take up single carded figure releases, or shelf space for those. And the comic packs stay going to retailers too. Reducing shelf space that full on cinematic lines take up while still providing retailers with MCU figures for sales which they want for blockbuster movies. Plus, they can still filter in some comic oriented two-packs like the IM Captain America one that's boxed with the BP/Agent 13 one. |

Still waiting for loose in-hand pics - Panther looks great but to my tired old eyes he appears a little short so I'm hoping I'm wrong.

As I'm sure others who preordered have gotten a notice on, BBTS has alerted me my preorder of Rogue/Morbius/Hydroman/Quasar is processing. This should mean it should ship next week and I shoud have by month end. Yes! Bout time. After buying a total of two figures from the first two waves, and two of the comic packs, it's about time to swell the ranks some.

Thanks Irontuck3000, need to be patient now and wait for them to turn up in the UK or on Chinabay as I need more than one Agent 13.

So, Movie Xmen:
X2 Nightcrawler, Rogue and Wolverine Prof X, Cyclops and Storm WiP's (not happy with the Storm head) Jean, Raven and, IIRC, did someone ask for a Kelsey Grammer Beast? And Magneto |

Very nice. I've been working on a Rogue myself to go with the Wolverine I did. Just need to get the head I'd like to use.
