Ah I've seen some of those. The M.O.D.O.K. I saw looked like it would fit in perfectly with MU figures. If I could snag one for $5 I'd definitely get one.
Haven't seen an Ultron though. |

If they don't want her, I'll take her if she has a good personality.
Just slap a blond wig on there, and we're perfect.

I think at least one person on the Ark here actually does have the MODOK explicitly for their MU display. I saw all of these playmation things back when they were new however long ago, at least a year I think, but they retailed for like $20 a piece because they were meant for whatever game and when I first spotted some of them at a Ross the other month or so it was just proto-Ultrons and the main Avengers, nothing I could really use. After getting Ultron, yeah $5 for MODOK doesn't sound too bad, although he does appear more cartoony it never hurts to build up the villains' ranks.

Babe, I'm in it for the person you are, not your aesthetics.
Except for the blond hair thing, that is a must.

I have the Legends version. Much better I think, as he is listed as much much larger than "normal" sized.

There are different ones though too. The BAF to me was always more of a slightly smaller than MODOG scale one, as the largest out of them, whereas the others should be a shade smaller. The easiest judge on scale though is the limbs. They should be close to 1/18th if a bit smaller to maybe a bit larger depending on how you view the lack of muscle and the initial candidates build. His limbs weren't impacted by what made him, but the additional armoring could in theory bulk them up a little bit. So that's probably the best spot to judge scale from. Really it all boils down to preference, but if you want story accuracy, yeah the playmation one is close, as is the 90s Ironman toyline one. The limbs on the BAF one almost look too big, but it's passable. It also depends on which MODOK you're talking about too. There were several people that went through that AIM experiment over the years. |

On scale, it really should be one that matches legs and arms. His head grew to massive size because of the procedure that made him, and his arms and legs are armored a little.

Yeah, and then you add in the added armor, so they could be same size to smaller. Either or works.

Thanks Jackieboy!
I actually had the legends Modok in my hand for a great price, but I felt like there where too many problems. I think the TB Legends are some of the greatest representations of the characters, but they don't look great next to Hasbro stuff simply because they have too much Texture, too good of sculpts, and way too many paint apps. Those are all pros to me, but when they are next to smooth plastic figures that have very basic paint apps it breaks to continuity in my eyes. All that being said I do have the legends MOJO because he looks great scale wise, but the same issues I mentioned above pertain to him too. |

I reckon Colossonaut looks like he's about to kick Spiral up the arse. Many amazing parts to that display but the Mojo room is particularly inspiring.
