I ordered 2 each of the new single figures on HTS. A set to keep carded, and a set for trade bait.

Time for some tales of trial and error. I spent an hour trying to strip the silver off of my Iceman. Worked out okay except the feet and hands are a pain. The little bits of silver left look like frost. Anyway, I notice that his right arm is kind of loose at the shoulder. I go to pop it off so I can stick some glue in their and fill the gap when this happens

At least it was my spare that I got on clearance for $3. I guess he will just have one less point of articulation.

That's how I view breaking a figure. "welp, that's a point of articulation gone. Could've been worse" lol

@iceman: so how did you end up taking it off? Did you soak it in rubbing alcohol?

Also, did you boil and pop the arm off or just tried to pull it off normally? I tried pulling off sw comic pack cyk and the same thing happened to me. I've been boiling and popping figures ever since, lol.

I just popped it off because I've never had a problem before with that kind of arm just ripping off.

I ended up using my wife's nail polish, which is acetone based. I think that might be why it took forever as it didn't come off right away. Regular acetone is probably better. Just a little annoyed that after all that work I have to glue the arm back. Now I need to find another $3 Iceman to keep MOC.

SO BADASS, BRO.
The more I see of it the cooler it gets. Now you need to make a Rescue armor with a Renegades Scarlet head for an unmasked Pepper Potts- just add some freckles.
I really dig the "holographic display" Tony's looking at- you printed that on transparantcy, right? I SO should do that at my job! you can swap that display for a screengrab from The Avengers movie or better yet- the Avengers cartoon! I can see Tony watching cartoons of himself.
Say, is that a repainted Movie Logan you've got as Tony? Kinda looks like it from the pants and boots.

And, as everyone else already has asked, I'll chime in and request a Professor X and Blastaar if you find them- you already hooked me up with Jubilee!
You are my cool friend and contact down Mexico way!

Iceman, all is not lost with your poor figure!
I'm no expert, but I know you can use a pin from another figure to replace the one that's snapped off there (i'd paint the new pin light blue first) ...but if the pin is stuck in the bicep part, you'll need to drill that out first.
Boodlechow is the man to see for figure fixes and alterations- he does amazing things with adding articulation and such with joints and pins from doner figs.

But it's probably easier to buy a new fig and keep that one for parts- you can get a good Bobby likeness off some GI JOe fig and make a "iceing up" Iceman fig!

Thanks Jasson I'm trying to get some more, with friends looking to change figures, like my friend Luis has not Toyark account, i can probably change some agents of SHIELD, Hydra Soldiers or Black and white ninjas for army builder.

Also I have a whishlist and probably can send more than one figure by some that they are harder to find like the Archangel Death or Firestar.

Rescue the idea is good I have cloned Scarlett's head and i only need to get the torso of the ROC Scarlett.

Some Arkers me an asked if I can sell the figures of wave 21 but I have no Paypal account so I prefer to change by other figures, but I think if he smite paypal account because I care about and seen some figures on Ebay.

I purchased off eBay a 2012 MU Punisher that arrived with an arm damaged exactly the same:

My Punisher has a problem at the same spot. Not completely broken off but the peg was torn half off when I got it. Seems to be a common issue with him.

My punisher has that issue too. I'm extra careful when I move him around, it definitely is a common issue.

It's Punishergate 2012! Hasbro must know about this by now, right? I want to get another as a backup but I'm afraid I am just wasting my money.
