Got my Jubilee and Prof X from my LCS as well, from Forbidden Planet NYC this morning.

Jubilee still got the googly eyes but can be fixed later.

Not only did I do the Philadelphia MU Collecting Community a service today, but I also grabbed a Kang to throw in my sales/trade thread. What service did I provide? I bought a Gladiator.



Target is running a BOGO 50% off Marvel stuff this week (ends today), which includes MU singles, Comic Packs, and Legends. There was a lone Kang sitting there that I couldn't leave, so I needed another MU to get it for half off.... behold, The Gladiator. There was so much dust on top of the bubble that you saw a small cloud when I blew on it. That means I left a $5 Punisher and a $5 FF Spidey on the pegs though. Star Wars VC's are $8.

I got a surprise today. My LCS guy called me and i went and picked up my shipment, not sure what it was since i have everything up to date.
Surpirse, surprise, it was the Prof x, jubilee and Blastaar wave. Plus it had the Blastaar variant and Baghead Spidey.

I hadnt even ordered this wave yet as it never showed up in the Previews magazine. seems when he placed the order for wave 18 they called him back and said there was a mix up with the waves and offered him this wave up for order too.

and i'm in toronto, canada so i thought we wouldn't see this wave for a while.

the only bad news was that the prices went up to $15 a fig and the variants he charged even more.

oh well....part of the addiction to plastic problem.

That really sucks man, I have already snatched up 5 bagheads and blastaar, blastaar variant, jubs, porf x and miles spideys at retail, 9.99 a piece. I used them to get my solid vision and both ms marvels and a couple of other figs I havent got yet. I just got my vision today after I went to another qalmart and snathced up another case.

didn't you say you wouldn't mind hooking someone up with a baghead if you found another for cost plus shipping? i did ask and you just said you found 5... oh well, i guess i'll wait till they start popping up next year...

I think it's the ML professor x helmet. The MU version does not come with a helmet

no worries. there's only one walmart out of 10 that still carries that line and it's over 30 minutes each way. so pretty tough to get over there every day.
