yeah, I wasted too much money on clearance hobbit toys today! $2/figure and $5 for the wolf pack was too good to pass up. Also scored a Batcave that I didn't really need--but I don't have any other versions of the batcave. A subpar Batcave beats no batcave.

I'm thinking I may turn the dark haired hobbit (kili? fili?) into Richter from X-Force/X-Factor.

Wow, those are great prices. I only every saw Hobbit toys up here at TRU and not many of them. I picked Gandalf when they came out but I would want one or two of the Dwarves if they ended up at good prices.

I'm looking through Sue.

(edit: Here's some group groups with Invisible Woman.

The First Family

DOOM!

The Six Fantastic Four

I feel like I may have seen someone else do a Spider-Man like that and I thought it was neat.

Thanks. It's Night Mission Spider-Man from the 2010 Spider-Man line. The figure itself stunk, but I liked the head way better than the MU black costume Spider-Man.

Looks like they run online from anywhere from $13 (US) and up. Unless you really want it I'd just see if it shows up cheaper elsewhere.

As for Amazing Bag-Man have you tried heating it? From what I've seen it's a pretty nice head under the bag, it just needs brown for the hair.

sweet,i just picked up a similar spidey the other day,lol for a second there i thought the artwork on the bottom was of some skrull spidey XD
Yeah dude,i tried the hot water technique several times,it loosens the bag but the head is fixed in real tight,i heard someone mention nail polish remover but that can ruin the plastic,so i dont want to risk it,oh and i agree the head is pretty sweet,Ashrock made a vid about it on youtube,he shows what the head look likes and its a great sculpt.

Yeah it's pretty funny how there are still a few people out there that think it's a reused Duke head just because the hair isn't brown, but to me it's clearly Parker.

You see Skrull, I would always see the Beetle and than get mad that it was Spider-Man and I should have known by then.

So boiling didn't work? Hmmm hair dryer maybe or maybe if you work with it often enough it will come out. Too bad Hasbro decided to make it a retail figure and not mail away, so they had to glue the bag on as a preventative measure against wee little children choking on the bag. It's not like it'seven the smallest thing in MU, so IDK that may not even be the reason they glued it.

Thanks. I wanted an easy way to show off his power just using stuff I already had. They need to be able to show their powers, it's the FF. Earth, Wind, Fire and Water basically, not Earth, Fire and two people. That's why I was so happy at finding Sue, I had been putting cellophane bags on her or holding clear things. That never did it for me. Now when they are on the shelf together they really pop, they look like the Fantastic Four.

Speaking of looking like the Fantastic Four when is Hasbro going to release FF repaints of She-Hulk and Medusa? Crystal, Scott Lang, Lyja and the kids would be cool too, but right now they already have figures of the other two, so just repaint those suckers and put them in a team pack with Lockjaw or something.

tried boiled water but no luck,im sure the makers stuck that head on with a big blob of glue, and its a pity because its a nice head sculpt!!!and i agree its definitely a parker head.

They need to hurry up and make a Lockjaw and release that frog Thor so we can have the complete Pet Avengers (although I won't consider mine complete without Zabu. For some reason he's never on the roster list but he's in every Pet Avengers comic I've read).

so many FF ppl i want its crazy,

hell i bought a grey hulk, wolvie in brown, ghost rider and the black red spidey so i could make a new FF.

i took a mr. fantastic head and gave it to the torch's dark blue and white suit cause the body looked more wirey, and the one from the 2 back was too big and muscled up for me (even though i own it too)

More Fantastic Four style MU appreciation.

Jackieboy and I seem to think alike on alternate Doom heads. Evil H.E.R.B.I.E. !

Anyone else a Strange Tales fan?

Great Pics Jan you know the faceplate of dooms mask can be removed from the head, its an individual piece.try an exacto blade.i also used some colouring to cover up that unsightly peg hole on the front of CC's head.

Got my latest haul in the post, Nighthawk, Puck, Nova, Angel, Herc and the Inhumans set.
I'm not sure which figure is camper, the nearly nude classic Namor or Herc! Faaabulous!
The Inhumans boxset is ridiculously cool though, Medusa's hair is pretty epic, Karnak fits the thin buck perfectly and Black Bolt is dead on.
The biggest surprise was Puck. I assumed it'd be a limited articulation also-ran but he's a perfectly formed small-scale figure. And if we don't end up with a squatch soon that box-art feels totally redundant.
I love the MU scale!
