They were selling them at 20 a pop and you could buy as many as you wanted. Some guy who was very overweight had hole in his worn out shirt, grandma shoes, and a 2 dollar hair cut bought 10 and said he was going to sell them at 100 a piece lol. Knowing they had sooooooo many in stock

I'm not pleased to see that Northstar & Aurora are apparently getting the same "share a slot" treatment that Cloak & Dagger are getting, and perhaps Abomination and A-Bomb. There's no telling how difficult that will make purchasing these figures. I don't care about A-Bomb, but I want all the other figures. As for the good news, that Black Knight looks amazing! I love it. |

It's Marvel selling them, not Hasbro. Hasbro has said repeatedly that Old Man Logan wouldn't go on HTS. We'll see if that's true but there is no reason to think they will show up on HTS right now. They put the other ones up because Marvel didn't want them anymore and they had leftovers. Supposedly OML was supposed to be at NYCC but Hasbro couldn't get them to Marvel in time so now Marvel just wants to get rid of them as fast as possible.

My only concern is the running change/variant combos. They sucked bad enough what it was just a costume variation, but now they're entirely new characters. Who wants a cloak without the possibility of getting a dagger? These running change things works so well for Marvel legends, half of the figures promised aren't making it to the stores. So let's take the same strategy apply it to a different line.

Anybody know why Zemo has so much web gear and a loin cloth? Is that how he looks in comics right now?

Yep, current run Zemo is a little more "merc" looking. Amidst all the hub-bub of SDCC and the impending "doom" of Marvel Universe by lovely US ebayer has sent me Rhino, Elektra, Cap and Mysterio. Oddly my Mysterio did not have the helmet/cape glued on at all, just a nice snug fit over the head. Great, great figure. Rhino has a slightly dodgy paint app (a bit of glitter, unless this is the fruity Rhino variant) and is trumped by the spidey figure. Not bad at all though. Elektra is very good, flawless paint and build and looking good alongside the comic-pack DD and Bullseye. So gratifying that the female MU are tough but feminine. But the real winner, and proof positive that i'll buy up repeat characters happily, is the new Cap. Feels odd to get this far into the run with this being the first proper Cap but now my core Avengers are assembled. Flawless paint, amazing articulation and it just looks damned good alongside Hulk, Thor and Iron Man. |

Pretty sad with basically MU and legends both coming to an end simultaneously. The thing is, it could be a blessing in disguise if they really are gonna incorporate the high quality figs into the movie lines and this so called "avengers" line we've heard about. We all know bad distro has been, retailers will almost certainly be more likely to carry brands that they believe correlate with movies and therefore big sales with kids.

I gotta say, it pisses me off that the figures on my shelf are being revealed. What is this some kind of surreal experimental approach to action figure production and distribution? Post modern concept toys? Or are they seriously revealing toys to us that we already own? In the display case, sure, fill it out visually. But at the reveal night. It just screams, that's all folks!

In brighter news, I finally found that wave that I only saw once, for a second time. No Angel or Nova sadly, but I finally do have Puck. Woo?
