				 | Quote: so.... any theories on where the extra Old Man Logan figures are going? if there not on HTS are we gonna see them at Marshalls or TJ Max? I got one for 39 on Ebay a couple days ago (man I feel sorry for the folks that paid 500 a few months ago),I thought it was a bargain. Is anyone else slightly disappointed in the con exclusives? the Taco truck and OML are cool no question, but in the past it seems we got a lot more, masterworks, a lot of consistently MU style packaging, and obscure figures, not just the same awesome, if extremely overplayed characters. I don't know maybe the shat news just has me butt hurt, but I'm feeling we got stiffed. I'm not sure if I feel stiffed or just disappointed. I do think most of the Hasbro exclusives fell a little short this year though. That's not to say there's not some cool figures that came about, but to me there didn't seem like there was a lot of feeling behind it. Metroplex - we're getting a retail version of this figure very soon. Shockwave's lab - we already have a retail version of this figure. No single carded Joe figures this year?? The Joe/TF pack is cool, but didn't even make it to HTS. (Possibly because of the lawsuit or did they completely sell out?) Deadpool - neat idea and the corps figures look cool and they are obscure, but we already have what 3 versions of Deadpool? It would have made more sense doing this when the movie comes out. And I do understand that releasing the same or similar figures is common practice (Bruticus, Thor Ages of Thunder, Cap, etc...), but I think I would rather have seen a 3.75" Stan Lee or Jarvis or Aunt May/Uncle Ben action (inaction?) figures instead. Or something else obscure that wouldn't do as well at retail. I would rather Old Man Logan had been the MU single carded exclusive this year and not had it be the subscription figure which had no purchasing limit. So despite my rant I really do appreciate what we got this year. Something is definitely better than nothing and I'm excited to be getting the Deadpool Corps and a packaged OML. That sucks. I already had myself believing they wouldn't be released today, but I was still checking periodically through the afternoon. Then bam there they were! Caught me off guard too, but I was able to get what I wanted. Sorry you missed out. |

They only made 3,000 I believe and I'm sure they sold a bunch of them at SDCC as eBay can attest. I can't imagine them going anywhere besides being a digital sub promo figure or to HTS like Archy, Doomy and Nicky. I'm not sure if I feel stiffed or just disappointed. No problem kylactus. It's just the unhelmeted juggy from the collossas 2 pack (saw it peg warming so I could pick one up for anyone) with a helmet from vortious customs. I'll have to give it a brown wash. I'll probably pick up the old man logan head sculpt from him too, can't bring myself to pay $50 for OML on eBay for another wolverine, but considering it.

Yeah I do love the sculpt. I'm hoping it won't be too hard to score that Hall of Armor box set for the better articulated Mark 42 and the Tony.

2013 SDCC: Hasbro/Marvel Panel - - MarvelousNews.com part i thought was interesting "if sales are good into 2014 for Marvel Universe we could see things like that Devil Dinosaur seen in Hasbro's diorama case be made." really talk about obscure when so many more main stream characters arent made yet
