No! That makes me sad to hear. I think the least I've paid for a figure was 4$, for Odin. That was at Zellers too.

I wish I'd seen that. I still need (well, want hahaha) a mohawk Storm. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing her when BBTS had some in stock again randomly. Eventually. She's one of those 'when I have at least one of everyone else I want' hunts.

Yeah, they had that 2-pack for like $14 and I considered buying a couple of them but I don't like the mohawk. And I already had both versions of Nigtcrawler. I mentioned it at the time but no one said they wanted me to go back and get them so I never did. Now that pack goes for a lot more than it's worth.

You don't like the mohawk? That was my favorite Storm era. I hated it at the time, but retrospect has me always looking to those stories as the penultimate Ororo tales. I was kinda happy to see she re-adopted the look recently.

I just realized that I don't have a Nightcrawler either (I'm not much of an X-men fan). I think that pack is going to be my next mission now, hahaha.

I just prefer the classic long hair look like back in the day or how she looked recently before the mohawk came back. Even 90's style was nice.

i hate the xmen movies too samsson, so much potential but yet so cheesy!.... and it woulkd be nice to see Wolverine in an Avengers movie.

Marvel Studios will eventually get the rights back but for now.... the worst Catwoman will have to do as the 'best' Storm

On an off topic note, I watched the new Wolverine movie on the plane and actually had a good time... My friends kept telling me that it was so bad, I expected nothing and was surprised in a good way... The story doesn't make any sense but the Silver Sam was nice and Hugh was quie charismatic.

Wolverine was ok, until the robo-samurai bit. I don't get the whole changing of the mythos, they have a rich history/guidelines to follow. There wasn't a point to make viper a mutant, but silver samurai a archer smh. They act like ppl never heard of these characters before. Get a core group develop personalities and a better plot. Rant over..anyone got a leader to sell LOL

Same here, these movies (especially fox) think they need to make the villains extra badass, a normal phasing silver samurai would have done wonders where a weird robotic giant samurai obviously failed. Just like sandman, he was never that epic in the books, but since he was the central villain fox decided to veer one again from the comic magic that drew in the fanboy crowd...

I'm really hoping dofp sticks to its roots

Don't get me wrong I'll still pay to see it in the theatre, but it's getting harder to part with 11$ these days to see a segmented company ruin fandom for the other 20% neglecting the base of why these films were made in the first place

Agreed. The fight with Shingen before it was a better Silver Samurai fight. Iron Samurai was ridiculous. Still a pretty good movie though.

Now that they've announced Apocalypse after DOFP I really hope they don't screw it up beyond recognition.

Bishop looks pretty cool I hope we can get a 3.75" version. Yeah I wish the x movies would take some more out of the books kind of like Nolan's bat flicks (or batfleck soon). I've even read they are gonna have quicksilver in DOFP and avengers 2 with 2 different actors, odd. I finally found an AA red skull at retail today!

Yeah if I remember right there was a big pissing contest about the use of Quicksilver between Fox and Marvel. I don't even think Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are mutants in Avengers 2. Probably won't even be Magneto's kids. Damn copyright bullshit.
