Ah, speculation. Research? Logical assumptions and educated guesses? What madness dost thou speak of?

In all seriousness, there could be any number of legitimate reasons why no one has seen Northstar yet. None of which involve moustache-twirling CEOs or nefarious conspiracies.

Well, Russia is in the continent of Asia, so I'd say they qualify if we're going solely by geographical origin. Ethnicity is another matter, though.

On that same note, Canadians are technically American too.

I haven't heard anything about a Batroc figure in this scale. I certainly hope so. I don't know all of the characters we're getting in this line. I know Cap/Steve, Red Skull, and Winter Soldier are out, supposed to be getting a deluxe Falcon (not sure if out yet since I've still not seen any of this line in-stores and just have what I've gotten from China). This movie's going to have quite a few characters so it'd be a shame if this was all we got - especially since as far as I know, Skull's not even in the movie.

Mandarin is one.... Also here in UK and in continental Europe, Asian refers to someone from West Asia...Pakistan, India, Iraq and such. One would say ORIENTAL when referring to an East Asian from Viet Nam, China, Burma and such.
Just saying.

I'd forgotten that they released a Mandarin in the MU line... which is funny because that's the one I have!

(In the states Orient/Oriental is borderline offensive to many.)

Western Russia is in the continent of Europe... and lets face it, that's the part that counts!

There's a Daken?

I'm still hoping for a Shang-Chi (even though there's an easy Quick Kick version). Frankly, I want more of the 70's characters generally; Black Goliath (yes, in the funky costume), Phantom Rider (the whole Rangers team actually)... and so on.

All aside, I don't think the line's done too terrible in minority representation considering that comics were an all-blanco club for decades.

EDIT: Forgot Jubs as an Asian-American entry to the series. Derp.
Yeah jubilee and hogun in the thor line. Really hope we get a shang chi.
agree ^ want me a bishop, any version hopefully 90's mullet. Never thought I would say that.

I've only ever heard that term used to denote regional attributes, not racial or ethnic traits.

Omega Red would beg to differ. He's from Siberia.

But that does bring up an excellent point. The lines get really blurry when we start mixing ethnicity and geography, especially since certain terms can be used to describe either trait.

Regardless, let's get back to the discussion at hand: we need more MU-style 3.75" figures!

I reckon Bishop is the character that most needs an 3.75" figure, preferably the 90's version.

He's in the new film so I'm extremely hopeful for the 2015 Infinity line.

i'd say x men characters are getting the shaft in terms of toy production for the near future. What we got for Legends for the Wolverine was Hasbro throwing a very small bone. We have seen NOTHING for the new X Men film. Not even those pitiful minimates.

So I have been admiring my collection too much lately and I have really grown to appreciate the more unique figures. I know a lot of superheroes wore tights so they can get away with simple paint changes (Not that I don't appreciate that as well, the more the better in my eyes).

But it has me thinking:

What is your favorite 3.75 and why?

I start with Silver Samurai. Not at all my favorite character, but they nailed his figure. It has detail from head to toe two different swords that can both be "Sheathed" and a perfect wash to not look too much like plastic like his older toybiz incarnation.

Also I want to rehash the holy grail conversation and point out that no one said Bag-Head Spider-man, Which I have still yet to see in person.

I believe that since marvel doesn't own the rights to xmen that's why we don't see those toys. Think of it this way. Marvel is genius. They only now really support marvel studio films, so we only see toys from the movies they make. Yes we got old xmen toys and the wolverine but then marvel was still not bought by Disney. Ever since Disney bought them, them have neglected anything not marvel disney owned. So I don't think we will see any xmen character until fox loses the rights. Spiderman is differnt sony owns them and I think that's all sony owned. I think they made a deal with marvel hence we get toys and Massive promotion. Ill bet money we won't see fantastic 4 toys either. I hate fox personally. I wish they would let go of all rights back to Marvel
