I totally get your point, and yes getting the figures and characters you want and enjoying them is the whole point to me too, Faberge eggs are rare, but I don't want them, if you gave me one I'd trade it for a Vision no question. All I'm saying is that for me at least there's a hunt aspect to it, (that's why poor distribution chapps my ass so much). I love seeing someone score a super rare figure and brag about it, I REALLY love being the guy who scores the impossible to find figure. To me it's like baseball cards when I was a kid, there are collections out there that are awe inspiring (like those of a lot of folks on here), If you could always find everything It wouldn't be collecting, it would be a "how much disposable cash do you have to spend" situation. I am just proud to be in the game. I like the aspect that anyone with 10$ in hand can walk into a store and find something everyone else is paying out the nose for, I will do my best to have them all eventually, but if every figure was sitting in every Wal-Mart all the time and you could always afford them there would be no point in collecting, you might as well just go to the store and stare at them, or buy and toss right?

I will admit that every now and then I'm thrilled to find a rarer figure, it's reminiscent of the thrill of a hunt. That being said more oft than not, I would still prefer that no figure ever be one per case, because the joy of finding a rare figure is less than my anger that it was made rare by poor shipping design. Let's please get off this topic.

Ha! I called it on the mini Ant-Man! Even though... it's actually different to the one that came with Yellowjacket.

Is that Val head like the demo version we saw?

Yay antman! And they also redid his legs to update his buck! Kind of glad we didn't get the comic pack now since they went ahead and updated it to have the thigh cut swivel.

I'm share youe pain, the only MU figures I ever found in Poland are FF Dr Doom and Black Spidey 2 pack in TRU.

Wave 4 looks great, it's like light in the tunnel, hopefully Hasbro will release Emma.

They should come with the bodies of their slain opponents to stick their swords in.

But on a more serious note yeah that would be cool if they did. But I'm suspecting not.

Am I the only person wondering if Valkyrie's haircut changed between her prototype and the wave4 pic?

I think the MI case ratios suck, but I can't really fault Hasbro for wanting to make more of what they think will sell (even if I think they're dead wrong about it).

It kind of depends on whether or not you count 2008's Incredible Hulk as part of Phase 2. There are only a few ties between it and the rest of the films, so it could just as easily be ignored as 2003's Hulk. At least as far as the MCU is concerned.

Actually Increible Hulk is very much part of phase one. You have to imagine everything up to the Avengers was all in a matter of a week to 2 weeks in actual time. The whole reason Blonsky and Banner were both transformed is they (GOV.) was trying to recreate the super solider process. Ross himself say," Banner didnt know he was working on this project, and the dumb bastard tried it on himself". Also at the end after trailer of Hulk, Tony meets with Ross in a bar to change Ross'S mind cause they were considering using Blonsky on the Avengers team. If I remember correctly,The order in real time is Iron Man 1 then IM2,the hulk happen almost at the same time Thor is happening, Then they find Cap and few weeks later The events of the Avengers movie happen.

I consider The Incredible Hulk part of phase 1, it was included in the phase 1 case set (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers). Phase 2 is all post Avengers (Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Cap 2, Guardians, Ant Man, Age of Ultron). You're right though, the connections are small: a SHIELD logo on the canisters used on Blonsky, Stark showing up in the post-credit scene, and Blonsky getting name dropped in an episode of SHIELD, Marvel's probably hesitant to bring up this movie because of the switch from Norton to Ruffalo.

Sorry, that was a typo. I meant to type "1" but was looking at your post while typing and my head told my fingers the wrong keystroke.

I'm assuming you mean the events depicted in Iron Man 2 and Incredible Hulk, right? Maybe even a portion of Thor (from Mjolnir crashing to Earth on)?

Because based on the link you provided, we know that the events of IM1 and IM2 are about a year apart. I don't remember, but were there any specific dates mentioned in those films to establish that they took place as that timeline states they did? It seems odd to shift a movie's timeframe two years into the future, when it's supposedly taking place in "present day".

Personally, I would have shifted IM1 back about two years to occur in 2008 and put IM2 about 2 years after that (based on their release dates). I would have also put Incredible Hulk as happening prior to IM1, simply because Tony would have still been in the business of making weapons for the military at that point (explaining his offer in the end-credits scene). If he was already an established hero by the time Banner returns to America in IH, why didn't he confront the Hulk himself - possibly in a variation of his Hulkbuster armor?

Exactly. As far as Marvel Studios is concerned, they've done very little to integrate that film into the rest of the franchise. IM1 had already established SHIELD and Tony by the time IH came out, so those first two bits were probably done as Easter Eggs for the fans, rather than part of their Avengers master plan. The name drop in AoS could also be explained as a throw-away line, too - just Whedon being clever.

This is why I tend to largely ignore IH with regard to the Avengers timeline.

I think the Incredible Hulk is glossed over a bit because of the whole Ed Norton thing, but it is a tie in with the franchise, especially the Stark scene (which I feel is definitely post-Iron Man because of his mention of "the project" and General Ross's quip about having such nice suits) and the deleted scene with caps shield in the ice, weather they planed to include it from the get go or shoe horned it in... who knows. I think the whole "Avengers" multi film interconnected franchise came about after the success of Iron Man, If it tanked I doubt we would have any of the subsequent films. Therefore the Incredible Hulk, which would have been in some form of production before IM was released, was probably not originally intended to be part of the franchise and ended up having the Stark scene put in in post to create more continuity between the films.

Agreed. The Timeline I provided is the official Marvel Cinematic timeline, if you search its been out for over a year.i just and can't remember where else I saw it. They've updated it since it first came out to add the AOS show Ironman 3 and Thor 2

In Stern's run in the 80's she could grow up to a 4 feet and keep her wings. So roughly 4 ft. No other writer has used her at that height with wings so It's probably forgotten.

All through Uncanny Avengers she's been flying or sometimes just walking with her wings out and at normal size. Technically when Wasp grows giant she can use her wings, that would just be a really bad idea.

Best place to buy Marvel figures online? Which online outlet is the best? Amazon,Big Bad Toy Store, Hasbro Toy Shop,Dorkside Toys? Any others? Impulse Creations used to be a great place but have pretty much turned into online scalpers and gouge on their figures.(bunch of BS their justification for the $40 Wasp) Please relate good and bad on any online toy buying experiences.
