Hey quick question. since they are re releasing steve rogers, super soldier I was wondering if you could convert that to the current nick fury (furys son) I have no need for super soldier steve rogers so what if I just swapped heads with a movie version of nick fury. I mean, the current fury wears that exact suit so could it be that easy? Would it look right? Suggestions always appreciated

Well, you'd have to do something to the hands too. I think that, provided the head swap even works, the idea sounds solid. Side note: Nick Fury is still the Nick Fury, the character created from reaction to the films which were taking an element from the ultimate comics is Nick Fury Jr.

Okay, my Walmart officially sucks. I got there first thing in the morning, as they open. I was the first person over to the toy isles. There was a fresh case of the Infinite figures on the pegs...every single figure in a case lot except Janet. Clearly, she'd been plucked by an employee. :/

Wave 4 is going to save a lot of people alot of money !!! The only way this wave makes sense is if Its a new Groot, a Rocket with some articulation and a movie version of Starlord. If this is a repack its reeeaaallly bad. Now i understand that by time wave 2 & 3 come out it will be late summer and they want to hold off newer sets for xmas. I hope that after the movie we will get Gamora, Ronan, and Nebula....finishing teams is a must. That being said we really need Executioner and Emma Frost. Hopefully wave 5, maybe wave 4 is to give everyone time to catchup :-p

I feel like it's a little smart though. And who knows they may even give us the colour way he had when they were "peter quill's unnamed team" I just wish they would give us a mask less variant.
Either way it's smart. People who slept on the set will buy them up. Rockets a little but of a stretch though. If you can get a mini and fully articulated wasp, no way in hell would I want that hunk of plastic

could you imagine if they gave us a line like XMO, for the days of future past movie? a couple quick customs and you could make some sweet ultimate x-men, plus any 3.75 x-men in there movie duds would be nice... but I will say now, I'd kill a puppy with a rock for a couple scale movie sentinels. I hat the way there ignoring the movie figures, or at least turning them into a 5poa suckfest.

The movie sentinels are only credited as being 18 feet tall, the standard 4" figure is 1:18 scale. So a scaled movie sentinel would only be around one foot tall, the current MU masterworks sentinel is around 17" tall and looks way cooler (opinions here). Although killing puppies grotesquely sounds pretty fun

oh don't get me wrong, I love the masterworks sentinel, and the ML BAF sentinel is possibly the coolest figure ever made, But giant evil robots kick ass and I want more, plus I think there are multiple styles of sentinel in DOFP, like past, future and I think I saw a Nimrod. that said if we get a 16" 5 POA sentinel I will be pissed.

Since nothing was seen at toyfair and the movie comes out this month, I'd think it's safe to say that DoFP will not be seeing toys from hasbro. First class didn't get any either. Maybe, MAYBE, later Diamond Select will do a sentinel, but I doubt it would be in scale. I disagree on calling the BAF sentinel better, it's scrawnier and doesn't produce light or sound, to each their own.
Side Note: I think there are only two types of sentinels in DoFP. Dyson and modern art.

The future sentinels do share some resemblance with Nimrod.

i'm not downing the masterworks sentinel, it's sweet, but the BAF is articulated as hell, the fingers have there own joints, plus it has tendrils, the paint and sculpt are incredibly detailed, the light and sound are always "gimicy" to me, plus my favorite part is the weight. that thing is like a weapon, if you have a BAF sentinel, grab the legs and crack someone in the jaw with it... you will kill them! as far as the scrawniness, I think it looks like Rover from the new Xmen "here comes tomorrow" story line.

I have an idea for the tentacle on the masterowrks version. You know how theres a space for them under the hands? I was thinking of grabbing some flexible metal conduit from Home Depot and using that.

its an idea, but i could most likely work something out. i would have to drill out the flat plastic end where the cable would meet on the arm, and screw the cable into place perpendicularly through the plastic shell and into the cable. some pvc glue added might help as well.

VERY nice Bmorr.... Very nice indeed.

Did anyone here order the Nebula or the Starfox?? Very curious about them. I wish I had that Starfox for my son's Avengers!!!

Edit: I meant the ones from that Chinese auction site....

I'd just be patient dude, you'll be able to get one soon (if it's a real figure) and dealing with an unfamiliar overseas seller you don't know if your getting a factory reject, or if your product will come in or if it will take six months. every wave of MU I always see people jump to be the first to have a loose figure from china or Singapore, they pay ridiculous amounts for something that ends up peg warming in 2 months. I've never understood the need to have it first, I'd just as soon be patient and get the same figure at retail.
