beens sparse this way. only 2 targets around in my traveling area even carried MI. only 1 of them has restocked wave 1. as for the TRU and Wallymarts neither has carried MI as they barely carried CAWS

Since 2010? The "adult collector" has been doing that since before 2002.
What I meant to say was the toy aisle for a "adult collector" started sucking in 2010. I feel the failure of GI JOE Rise of Cobra was the straw that broke the camels back. Between that and Iron Man 2 figures rotting on shelves, every month I saw less and less stuff geared towards us.
But yes "adult collectors" have been complaining on the internet since the internet started. Al Gore actually invented the damn thing to complain about Star Trek.

Haven't seen anything in Denver area yet for wave 3. wave 1 was everywhere, wave 2 came and went with 1 stock it looked like.

Well, adult collector for Marvel stuff (specifically Hasbro), it's not like every other adult collector company dropped the ball.

I really wonder if Target and Walmart dictate what Hasbro does. I think they just want figures that sell,I wonder if Hasbro just says that to pass the buck? Those Vitruvian Hacks look awesome. I think they would look great next to MU hercules and ares. I may jump in but they are a bit expensive at $30 a pop.

It seems like 1 out of 5 targets here stock the new MI line, and a chain of local grocery stores seem to get them on a regular basis, but I've only seen the remnants of wave 1 and they go really fast (other than IM and cap). I gave up and ordered a case of wave 2. Finally got wasp! I really like She Rulk, Wasp, Hyperion, Whirlwind, and Death's Head. I love how she rulk has double jointed elbows. I haven't opened the others yet. Hopefully the distro gets better soon. We got Death's head, now how about death's head II (i can only dream).

I wish HTS would ship to EU.... lame. I did have a mate order 4 Nick Fury mail away figures from there. Shipped to his house then he to mine. One of the four DID NOT have his jet pack. He wrote and wrote to HTS with ne'er a response. I wrote to Hasbro UK and within 24 hours they had HTS send me a new one to England and they sent two of the Ultimate Spiderman 7" figures as a way of saying sorry.

It was also Hasbro UK that helped me get a Super Hellicarrier for free for my son!!!! The giant outter box didn't have Nick Fury on it like normal, rather just a brown box with HASBRO EU PROMO printed on it small one one side. Same Super Helicarrier inside though, was the biggest box under the tree six months ago!

Hasbro UK was VERY good to me!! Even sent a hand written follow up letter to my son and put in some Iron Man stickers. Also, Hasbro donates a HUGE amount of toys around the world at Christmas time and to children's hospitals. More than anyone else when it comes to toy donation...... thought I would share something about how GREAT they are. We all complain about them, but they are just toy company at the end of the day.

It's not the people we complain about, there could be some really kind and nice people, or not, we don't know. It's the half-ass decisions they make about their products that we complain about.

Have we ever seen a breakdown of how Hasbro claiming kids vs. adults buy these lines? Personally I've never seen kids in the shops buying any. They always want the bigger figures.

I would love to see some sort of pie or bar chart on that one!!!
Dont get me wrong, Im not the Hasbro Kid riding into the sunset singing their praises. Just saying they are not the bad guy we always make them out to be. Even though 2 of my posts who painted them as a Draconian war council.... they do good things too.

GI JOE has turned into a profit LOSS for them, with all the movie stuff peg warming i am sure MARVEL stuff will soon be classified as LOSS as well. I wonder how much longer they will even make action figures. After being called out in the New York Post financial section the other day. I am sure shareholders are wondering. The toy aisles sure have changed in the past 3 years..... I hope it goes on, but with just Emma and Executioner, and maybe a couple others, left from the Vonner era to be made. And it looks like MI is mostly repackaged in the short foreseeable future anyway... also with the Marvel contract ending in 30 months, it does not look good. SDCC Hasbro Marvel Infinate panel cant get here soon enough!

I've got nothing but praise for Hasbro with all that they do. I have one very minor complaint that may someday be remedied and isn't really worth mentioning.

A lot of their decisions are because of the middleman major retailer system. I can't fault them for those.

Plus they work 18 months ahead too. It isn't always easy to predict markets.

Unless they employed Ms. Cleo..."call me now"

Oh please don't get me wrong. Hasbro has made so many amazing toys in the past and they continue still. We are past the golden age of Hasbro adult collector but it seems that we can alway have another run in the future.

most of us are doing the same.. if you were lucky enough to have seen them in store it was a short lived adventure as nary a store has either carried or restocked them. That's why I scour HTS..got lucky for the wave 2 figures..wave 3 and 4 are mostly repacks..

I have only seen MI at my local comic book stores and leftover Captain Americas and Iron Men at Targets. TRU around me have the last wave of MU still. I am hoping MI has a bigger presence in most stores later this year.
