Anyway, just got a new recipe (New to me anyway, I am sure every else knew it) for a simple head swap and a lick of paint for Collector. Can't wait to have that figure BEFORE the movie. Now if only I had a Ronan the Accuser.

I hope we get Avengers 2 line of 3.75" figures, but the recent 5poa shelf warmers tell me that we may not see any. It is BOUND to be a TOP FIVE GROSSING FILM OF ALL TIME though, so maybe! Avengers is the highest grossing film EVER....(that James Cameron didn't direct anyway)...actually number 3 on the list, behind Avatar and Titanic.

A week to go to SDCC.... wow, it came fast!!! Seems so far away then WHAM, it has come and gone. I want to hear wave 5, hints at wave 6, news about movie figures,a teaser of upcoming figures.... and playset,but I'm not holding my breath on that last one! And I want Starfox here where he will be safe!

Were we ever teased an Angela series from Marvel? Her stand-alone run from Spawn was cool, but not necessary reading, that and it was original Angela so don't read that if you only cared about Angela from recent.

I don't trust Bleeding Cool though for info. They tend to be extremely hit or miss with more on the miss side. They are kind of like the tabloid rag of the comic news circles. You never know which one has a kernal of truth behind all the misinterpretation.

i think ppl are going to sleep on falcon/cap.
his skill set is pretty sweet, he was trained by cap, war vet, he still will be using his wings so this cap can fly, he can also control birds and if he gets good with the sheild it could make some fights pretty slick if drawn right

I am waiting for Punisher to become Falcon....

i could really care less about Falcap (as I am calling him) or even TsHOR as it doesn't concern me. They can have The Hulk become Sif if they want. People will read it or wont read it. They will gain new readers and they lose old readers. in the end it will be just another story ark in a 75 year history.... I think it is odd that no one (seems to) care that they are killing off Wolverine.

Good points though samsson, he is all those things and some of the movieverse best fights were with Falcon in Cap 2. I also would like to see some customs.

If you read that entertainment article, that group shot is not a team but the new marvel initiative. Thor, superior ironman, all new captain america as well as other series, some which have already been named, deathlok, winter soldier, etc.
Thor is also supposedly someone else, that will be revealed down the series.

Rumor says that Howard the Duck will cameo in GotG, my only fond memory of Howard was when in a crossover event Ash (Ashley J Williams from Evil Dead series, played by Bruce Campbell) cuts him in half with his chainsaw hand. Thinking on that, what are some cool characters that you would like to see as figures who either guest starred in Marvel, or maybe belonged to Marvel at some point in the past. Noting of course that these toys would never get made by Hasbro (licensing rights and all), but it's cool to think about. I say: Ash and Conan the barbarian.

Godzilla.....


although we did just last week get the AWESOME Jaxx GIANT SIZE GODZILLA 2014 (for free too!) and he is great with them!

My son is sick in bed RIGHT now, was gonna get out the MU and set them up with Godzilla so they are there when he wakes up to watch Saturday morning cartoons!!!

(sidenote... TODAY was the last day of school in the UK for all the kiddies, NOW it is officially summer here!!!!)

GotG is here on next Wednesday (late preview premier) here in the UK... I will let you guys know if Howard isin it or not ( ZERO spoilers, I promise, just yea or nea )

2 days before the US release....should be home about 3 am afterward.... 7 PM on the American West Coast......will post then!

Be alert the rumor claims a cameo, so it could be a blink and you miss it moment, like R2-D2 in the Star Trek reboot. And speaking of Godzilla, since that reboot did remarkably well, Gamera should reboot. I saw that Jakks Pacific giant Godzilla at TRU and thought that it would be pretty great with MU, pretty sure I said this before.

He looks great with them!!! Blaze was playing with his micro machines jets and military stuff against him knocking down cereal boxes with paper taped to them with sharpie black squares for windows.... good times!!!

Of coarse good old dad had to clean all that mess up....
