I've seen these 4 characters together before in a diorama, but what and when was their teaming? I think it was some sort of alternate reality Fantastic 4, but I'm not sure. Any help?

Hulk, Wolverine, GR, and Spidey were the FF for a minute in the early 90's while the real FF was off world ( I'm not positive in my recollection, but I think that situation had something to do with wolverine clawing up the Thing's face and leading to his "bullet" helmet.) and I think they kind of "reprised" that FF team in an "Ages of Apocalypse" alternate time line story some time in, (and I'm just guessing here) the early 2000's. I'd need to dig through my comics to give you exact issues and dates.

I am taking ARMY pics this weekend!!!!!! Can't wait to post them up! Still have to finish the HYDRA mobile base S.H.I.E.L.D. team i still need to paint their heads A.I.M. still need to paint our 'spealists' agents and waiting for our 'royal guard' Skrull customs for our Skrulls to protect the Skrull prince and need to make THE OTHER for the Chitauri army and I still need a Moleman for the Moliod army (custom Giganto coming soon) but other than that.... I am 97% finished with the building of our armies At least as far as actually having the number of figures we want (which is quite ridiculus) and have all the vehicles and playsets now too....except our A.I.M. playset which is coming soon...after wave 5.

It's been a long time since I've read it, but I think the original FF was dead and the New FF had replaced them. It was an alternate universe storyline that didn't really have any impact on the main Ages of Apocalypse storyline that it was tied to. There's a description over here on UncannyXmen.net.

Finally! I was beginning to think I imagined this comic. Apocalypse the twelve and the fallout books that followed afterward were my last xmen comics I read.

I'd need to dig through my comics to give you exact issues and dates. Happened in the regular Marvel Continuity too not just in Age of Apocalypse. From Marvel database: A female Skrull alien name De'Lilawho was an empath, a shape-shifter, and a telepath managed to capture the true Fantastic Four. Pretending to be Susan Richards she convinced Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Ghost Rider to form a New Fantastic Four to avenge their "deaths". She sent them to fight the Mole Man so that she could steal a powerful Skrull device that crash landed on Monster Isle. The team briefly regrouped with Sleepwalker instead of Wolverine to fight the reformed Sinister Six. The original members reunited again as the first Secret Defenders at Dr. Strange's request to bring the Human Torch in for arson. Theres also a rare Hearts Of Darkness team pack

Thanks, actually Hulk's logo was the only one I had to paint. The others were from Johnny Storm's and Comic Pack Reed's bodies. The Parker head I painted was from Vortious Customs which came from baghead.

In waiting for the new Infinite Doc Ock, I decided to just make my own. The majority of him is the Power Armour Doc Ock from the Spidey 3.75 line, but his tentacles come from the Ultimate Spider Man 6-inch Doc Ock. I glued the tentacles into the backpack and painted them silver to match each other. The body isn't awful but it does lack any waist articulation or elbow hinge. |

				 | Quote: The backpack already had holes in it so the tentacles just needed a slight filing down to fit snuggly. I glued them in place just to add to their secure grip. |

Between 5 Below and Ross this past month, I was able to get a complete set of the Avengers Assemble SHIELD Gear figures, which are a great deal for $5 each. I have seen the complete set (both wave 1 and 2) at 5 Below stores, while Ross has only about 2-4 figures per store. They are pretty good 3.75" Marvel figures in my opinion. I am glad to finally have a Leader figure too. |
