I spent the holidays getting started on my mass conversion of installing magnets on all my 3.75 figures and updating all of the old swivel/hinge ankle figures to rocker ankles. This is a small sample of the first completed group, but I've got so many more to go that I'll likely be finishing up around the next holiday season =) |

				 | Quote: Thanks for posting, I can't wait to get these in hand. I'm happy they are reusing the Norman Osborn head on sandman, I never could find that iron patriot variant and did not want to pay secondary market prices just for the head sculpt. I was just about to hit up vortious customs for Osborns head. |

				 | Quote: that's how it starts.... "I'll just get the ones I like" then next thing you know you're buying the same figure three to seven times over because the paint is a slightly different blue, arguing with yourself over how glossy the finishes are on your Hulks, and writing down the stamp codes on the cards because Omega Reds sideburns got half a degree lighter! |

I don't collect toys with the intent of selling them eventually or for their value/worth... they're strictly for my personal enjoyment, and modding them to be more fun is a big part of that. =)

^ that's a good idea. I may try that on a spidey figure someday. That batman looks way better with a bale head. Did you paint the pupils white? Quote: You are right, I looked up the pics. The review said it was the Osborn head and with that crazy wave hair I thought maybe it was. |

Yeah, they said years ago that Osborn and Sandman were distant cousins or some load of nonsense, but that hasn't been referenced since. The Sandman head actually looks better as a Norman Osborn than the bloody Norman Osborn head does.

Looks like I'll be nabbing the Iron Patriot variant from Nexodusrex (who still has massive BAFs and the SDCC Helicarrier, Solid Vision and Maria Hill for sale last time I looked if anyone is interested) which means I can update my Men in Black Agent K Norman Osborn and IM3 Assemblers Iron Patriot. I got the Dark Avengers omnibus a couple of days ago so I'm all about the Dark Avengers right now. I bought a GI Joe 50th Baroness so I could make her a Victoria Hand, and Daken, Karla Sofen and Bullseye in the Avenger guises are all on the horizon from Mr Nexodusrex also.

My attempt at Emma Frost. The flash made her completely white thanks to her colour. Here's a better picture of my Cabal.

I suppose spoilers for the mid season finale of Agents Of SHIELD, but when I first saw Skye's dad I knew I had a head sculpt to match, which I sort of did. The hair is wrong but the face has just enough Kyle Maclachlan to pass for him. A mishmash of Star Wars parts later and I had myself a Skye's dad figure, placed next to my HYDRA guys and my custom Deathlok from last season. Coulson didn't have his team so had to make do with Fury, Hill & Quake until I could find suitable parts for them. That was until the last episode, and the revelation that Skye's dad is Mr Hyde, and Skye herself is Quake. Now this kinda pissed me off, rather ridiculously in fact, because my Quake head was a princess Leia and had no hint of the half Asian Chloe Bennett in her. I always prefer to have the on screen versions of characters, and nearly all my Avengers are kitbashed into movie figures, but for now Skye/Quake has to have a wrong head, and Mr Hyde has no where to go.
