I don't think it's an obscurity thing, they gave us Star-lord and Rocket Raccoon when they were unknowns. It could be a more practical challenge like size, Onslaught dwarfed characters like Juggernaut. Mainly his head I think is the issue, it's very undefined in his normal form and is pretty much just Magneto's helmet with glowing eyes shrouded in darkness. Making that in plastic could be very problematic, like when Hasbro made Darth Nihilus in the Star Wars line except even Nihilus had some defined facial features in posters, original form Onslaught is just emptiness as far as faces go.

no kidding. looking at an origins wolverine to a cap 2 fig is baffeling. this new 2.5 stuff is just sad it was a niche during the gi joe sigma six days that I wish never returned. I would have thrown my money at Hasbro had that hulkbuster armor been larger. seriously though what in the hell are Im and Wm doing on motor bikes??

^ I don't get the motor bikes either, they look more like riding lawn mowers.

Nice onslaught thorOdinson! I thought about picking up the Legends version but I didn't like the head, like yours much better.

As for vision, I gave up on trying to find one at a decent price. I had vortious cast a red head and found a loose body on eBay, threw some folk art acrylic bright green multi surface paint on the head and saved some money. Finally finished (should say assembled) him this week I almost want to do another one on the newer buck.

It looks like Ronan's gavel. His regular hammer is being cleaned so he has to use his court gavel. Or maybe it's his putter.

I plan on using the 2.5: inch one but I also have one from the small scale ultra magnus that might be good depending on how top heavy it is.

I have zero sculpting skills so I gotta make do with whats available.

Sure thing, as I stated above no sculpting skill what so ever so I made him with an Thor from the second movie and put in one of my fodder heads dont remember who is it but its from DCIH line.

Just mostly repaint, trim alittle bit of the cape at the sides and remove the circular clips for Thor's cape and free hand draw Quasar's insignia on his chest.

so, I wonder what reveals we'll get at Toy Fair next month………maybe Infinite Series Emma Frost (from the MIA X Men set), Ka Zar, Songbird, Fixer, Quasar ,Goblin Knight, Superior Spider Man, Silk, Spider Gwen, Morlun, Sasquatch, Snowbird, Moonstone, Jack of Hearts, Carol Danvers in her current Captain Marvel look, Shaman, Vindicator, Marriana, Attuma, Egg Head (ok, some of them are long shots, but I figure many reveals will tie into Avengers or Antman)

as long as they role out Emma and The Executioner I'll be placated. I'd like to see more but to be honest I have very little hope for the future of this line now. Just so they release Emma from purgatory is all I ask.

If they show anything new, it'll probably be Emma, Skurge, & That Ultron with the titanium man body from years ago that they never released. No doubt a re release of Ant Man, maybe Wasp or Yellowjacket.

They've shown a select movie Ant Man which I will definitely be picking up.

If we're on the wish list, I'd love to get the SDCC exclusive widely released, like Tiger Shark or Radioactive Man.... re-issuing Crimson Dynamo or Iron Monger from IM2 would be an option if they want to stay on comic-based characters without creating new molds.

On-topic question: sales continue in France, and there's some Avengers Movie Quinjets marked down at 15$ near my office, is it worth it? (the Iron Man included is crap, I already know that )

as much as id love to have a jack of hearts, can you imagine how difficult it would be to paint that figure? Its probably why they dont even put him in the comics anymore.

id love it if they put out more magic based heroes/villains. somemone for doctor strange to go against.
