I'd have been much more satisfied with AOA, or Exiles Sabertooth returning than bringing back Evil to the core Creed (who by the way has been killed off more in the last decade than I can even count.) and magically making him good! It's no wonder that for the first time in 70+ years Marvel is going the DC, scrap it all and start over rout, they've wrapped the continuity train round a tree in the last couple decades.

P.S. is Wolverine alive again yet? I need to play catch up.
Haha yeah is he alive again? I've actually stopped buying MU comics and have gone the cbr way, but even then I haven't been interested in reading it as much...

I like large chunks of new Marvel characters, though I have to admit I'm a bit worn out by event-fatigue too.

As for Sabertooth, the best thing he ever did was die. I kind of hope, if he isn't killed again, that he stays inverted until at least a few issues after Wolverine comes back. Because I really don't want to read a story about him trying to rape X-23, and you know that story will happen if he's not inverted or she doesn't castrate him first. Some Marvel writer at some point will want to write it, and it's not a story I want to see made in my lifetime.
Would love to have an X-Force Spiral. By the way what's the latest on X-23 and the X-Force team, does the X-Force still have it's own comic?

Nope. There was an X-Force team with Marrow, Cable, Psylocke and Fantomex and later on Domino and some other charactes but it was cancelled recently.

Bishop and Spiral both went MIA.

I want to say that despite my want for the figure Spiral is one of hte last figures I assume we'll get due to her design. However we did get that awesome Legends figure, which shocked the hell out of me.

Question for all, does anyone mix those marvel classic figurines in with the MU/MI figures for display? If so how do they size up? I realize they're rather expensive and are statues, but to be honest I wouldn't mind having a few characters just to have some representation...so long as the size difference is not too jarring.

I can take it no longer, I hereby end my self-imposed exile. I haven't seen Age of Ultron yet, but I trust you guys and that you wouldn't blatantly spoil stuff here. Firstly, cool Skurge. Secondly, I got some stuff during my absence from this thread.

I did end up finding a Daredevil and the rest of the wave so I also picked up a Beast because this is the Beast I grew up knowing, and the sculpt on this figure kind of makes up for the lower articulation.

Then today I found that my TRU got the exclusive two packs at some point so I got this one because I don't have a Black Widow in my collection and the cap'n isn't as bad as I thought it would be so that's alright. I like this Widow's paint scheme more than the first movie figure because of the blue lining, especially on the gauntlets, and as a cool bonus feature she goes all Tron-mode under the black-light.

how well stocked were those two packs? I'm debating on making a trip to get them, but I find that every time I rush out to find something it ends up choking the clearance isle a couple months later. (transversely, every time I end up passing on something it becomes a holly grail and I never see it again).

My store had like 5 of the Iron Man/Nick Fury pack and just 3 of the Cap'n/Widow pack. I don't know how long it's been since my store last restocked but these don't seems terribly rare/demanded, at the same time I could see the Cap'n/Widow pack being bought up before clearance becomes an option. It could just be my area but here it looks like no one wants or cares about the Iron Man/Nick Fury pack whereas at least a few people wanted the Cap'n/Widow pack.

They had maybe 4 IM/Fury packs and 2 or 3 Cap/Widow packs when I went up there last weekend. Wonder if they canceled the Hawkeye/Falcon pack because I haven't heard or seen anything about it since its reveal.

He takes request, very easy to work with. You most likely have seen his stuff on figure realm and on eBay. You always know its him because of the grey wall diorama behind his figures..he did the M'baku, and Ronan..also painted the Viper that Ive shown off.

also scored a legends scale hulk off china bay i have dubbed the acceptable hulk, had to blaCkwash him and clean up his eyes but he is pretty cool, tho his articulation is more than a little fucked, for starters he has a pistol grip, and his toes only bend down, and his mid section moves like jigglebilly from aqua teen hunger force....but he is nice and big for when you need the hulk to be more of a problem for every one around him...i have him chucking a car at a frost giant right now....

Oh yeah, you guys remember in AoU when Stark professed his gay love for Cap which ended up being a major plot point? Or when Hawkeye was shot in the kidney, but it was alright because the serum gives Cap 3 kidneys? Best bit I'd say

Darth Vader showed up to be Ultron's father. His mother, Wasp, was killed off screen.

First of all, nice custom of whatshisname, the guy with the axe. Isn't he a minor Spider-Man villain? (I kid, I kid.)

That is a bootleg Hulkbuster. I got one last week. I much rather would have bought one in this scale from Hasbro. But every toy line in the universe got an Avengers 2 Hulkbuster except us. Fine. Adapt and overcome, I say.

I bought this with the intention of adding some more articulation, but as-is, it is fine for the price (you can get one for roughly $15 shipped). It has ball joint hip sockets and a knee hinge. There is no ankle joint, but those feet would be tough to make rotatable and still look right. The elbows are hinged but there is restricted movement because of the thick arms. The shoulders are swivel only. The helmet does not turn, but that is mainly because it is hinged to raise up and revel a peg and head. The interior head can turn, though, for what it's worth. The scale is perfect, and it is the movie design.

The lines are sharp. It is a good-looking figure.

Did I say figure? I meant flashlight, of course. An imported flashlight.

He scales well with Hulk (the Avengers Assemble body is shown in these pictures).

And here is a comparison with a 3.75" Iron Man and Hulk.

This picture compares (left to right) the "Tony Stark" head that came with it, a ML Iron Man head (which looks pretty good, actually), and a 3.75" Iron Man head. The 3.75 head looks smallish, even though the scale is right. If it was modified to have interiors shoulders to sit on instead of a...cabinet...then it would look better.

And...action!

Yeah, that first picture looks like Tony Stark found Lt. Data's head buried in San Francisco and adopted it as his own.
