The Original Thunderbolts and the Dark Avengers were more like Villains posing as heroes under new identities to build public trust and dependency on them. Whereas the thunderbolt program with the inmates was them working for the government under duress but in exchange for lowered sentences and time served with good behavior. So much closer to what DC's Task Force X does. Including similar safeguards for rogue elements. Last edited by Snowflakian; 05-13-2015 at 03:51 PM.. |

He is a web strike Spider-Man from the Spider-Man 3.75" line (2010 I think). If hasbro re releases the same characters I wouldn't mind as much as long as they are alternate costumes (lookin at heroic age ironman or bleeding edge or whatever that gets re packed all the time.

Speaking of Avengers. What other classic (pre Onslaught) mainstay Avengers have not been made yet? I don't mean people who served for a few issues here or there or were never official members I'm talking people who had a fairly significant presence in the books.
I'm coming up with Tigra, Captain Marvel (Monica), Sersi, Swordsman, Quasar and Crystal. are there any others I'm missing? Or does that cover all the major ones? Quote:
Reading the Death of Wolverine, realised I needed to update my Viper. I realised I had a Vintage Collection Mara Jade head going to waste, so I took off her hair, shocked to find they'd sculpted ears underneath.
I'd say she'd make a good head for a Moondragon, just a bit of sculpt at the back. And if not Moondragon, maybe Starlord's Mum from Guardians...Too soon? Yes, I know I need to get an imgur or something. |

Found a couple of the movie Ant-Man figures on eBay for $20 and I'm debating getting one because I'm getting nervous about whether or not they'll actually get released. I still can't find anything about a release date but if they do show up in stores I'm sure I'll be kicking myself because I actually like the big ant he comes with.

I'm on the fence, but kind of want the ant man with white arms...but then I have to get a coat. I would use that head as captain America and the Steve rogers head for pym

I would advise against buying the white-arms ant-man right now. I guess they will be available on ebay for a long time. Let's wait what accessories are included in the official release.

The showing supposedly would start at 10:30 but the movie didn't actually start until around 11:00. I prefer the latest available showings on a weekday as it does wonders to thin down the audience, last year with GotG I was completely alone in the theater. It finished close to 1:30ish and I decided I was hungry so I went to Whataburger to grab some food.
I really enjoyed AoU, it was a good, fun movie and I loved seeing Ultron and Scarlet Witch finally join the MCU. Vision was of course much appreciated too.

SPOILERS I just figure it's because at this early point in his life he's entirely selfless. He doesn't even want to permanently eliminate Ultron, if he could have stopped Ultron non-lethally he would have. I highly appreciated his concern for his father and his somewhat gentle final talk.

So, if I had access to a 3d printer, where could I get 4 inch scale head scans?
I don't even know how/where to start. |

A lot of small Indy print shops, like mom and pop types, are beginng to get 3D printers now. So, if you have a file then can print it. Scanners are much rarer in my experience.
A good place to start is SHAPEWAYS.COM it is a 3D print site. Sellers mostly, they are eager to answer questions if you are polite. Join up and ask around.

Those ReAction figures are STILL cool;er than the Age Of Ultron figure we got!
Also, that alt head might make a good Stan Lee head with a touch of gray.

We are getting a 3-D printer at my school next week. Apparently it's just on loan for a week from a local business. It be nice to be able to exploit ... I mean, teach kids about how 3-D sculpted plastic toy parts could fit together.
On a sidenote, I guess I'm part of the problem, because I found and bought the five POA Scarlet Witch today. I hate succumbing to buying hasbro's less articulated offerings, but I'm a sucker, and if it's new or interesting, I'm probably going to buy. |
