I would say this on collection-completion: if someone has every original vintage Star Wars toy including all of the variations but none of the vehicles or creatures then they still have a complete collection. To me a complete collection is having all of the ones you want whatever that may come out to be.
Thank you Sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar...

I've never even seen that 3 pack until now. Is it very rare or just expensive and hard to find.?

I was on my way out the door at work and saw a Marvel cardback sticking out of a clearance bin.....

Sorry for the shitty camera quality. Just snapped a quick image on my phone when I got home since I wanted to rip open Death's Head really badly (he's awesome!). The cards are trashed, but I plan on opening one of each of them anyways and the three extra Guardians figures are automatically going to a friend if he wants them/doesn't already have them and I know he'll open them too.

Working retail doesn't totally suck sometimes!

Dude, that's the deal of the century! Great find. Is that with employee discount?

Nah, just super clearance to get rid of them! We choked on this set for months and finally they got discounted to $6.99, and disappeared. I thought someone bought them before I could, but evidently someone tossed them in the back and they were found today because they reappeared out of nowhere. There's also a Heroic Age Iron Man and a Hyperion, but they still have the $6.99 tags so I left them. Plus Hyperion isn't a huge want and I have the superior Heroic Age Heroes version of HA Iron Man with the nice metallic paint.

I suppose the only bad news is that if they're willing to mark these down to $2.19, it means they want them gone for good and we won't get the new waves. Or even the waves we missed because they didn't order any while these were sitting in inventory.

I've seen them on eBay, but I'm a low roller so it wasn't for me. Probably need to keep an eye out for them

Raf.... You're funny! I always love your posts. You played the end game move... receipts. Cleaver. I don't know what it feels like to have a complete collection, I'm just a po' boy. I do, however, have the WORLDS BIGGEST collection of a Hydra army. Tonnes of vehicles and customs to boot. It is both satisfying and sad when you complete your collection.

Our collection has brought us hundreds and hundreds hours of fun. My son and I have built life long memories that could be carried in to his children someday. That is worth more than a $6000 white shirt Luke Cage to me. I don't have big PayPal transactions to show you.... but I do have something better, my boy smiling. You contributed to that when you gave him Vision as well my friend..... ever grateful.

It is hard to be awed by any army-building effort after seeing this vintage Cobra army

that is the goal!!! Just kidding....fifty troops is where it ends plus all the others makes it a nice 75 deep. With some MASSIVE custom vehicles too. That COBRA is super duper impressive. It is, however, off the shelf. The HYDRA guys go for $30 each and up! Plus the main meat of the troops are the variant figures from from a small film line. Not easy to get, even harder in UK. Thank goodness for places like this to help you out though!

You mean he's in the next wave coming out, and has never been released. Cool whole box it is.

Hear, hear sir!
I've got a fair few bits before mine is "complete" - couple of BAFs like Modjo and maybe MODOK, few Doctor Who Cybermen or ML Iron Men as Sentinels, Vort Vision, Movie Ant Man, Korg, Emma, Iceman, Rogue, the Fantastic Four, customs for Pyro, Avalanche, Luke Cage, Jean Grey, whomever appears in future MCU, or X-Universe movies.
By Durin, I've just realised I'm never going to have a complete collection
