Great villains figures, I know I've seen most of these over time but they're always such a treat to see again. Has anyone made any customs of Graviton or Count Nefaria? I have some ideas with the Kraven or Dr. Strange heads but I'm just not sure. I know they're not highly requested figures over all but they are for me personally.

Good point Nash, that Kraven head would be perfect for those two plus I have seen people use it for Grey Gargoyle too.

I too used to be the same. I used to look at a custom and judge every aspect of it, if it didn't look like a Hasbro-made figure, it was a poor custom. It was all the guys on Figurerealm who were 12, using clay for everything, and it being really obvious. Or the glaring eyes they would paint, seven hells they were bad. Then I found out just how f*cking hard it is to paint eyes.

Now, of course, among you fine gentlemen the bar is higher because of your skill. I'm not the best, but I won't settle for a poorly made custom. I don't think anything of mine is bad, as such, but it's not factory standard.

Samsson definitely has some of the best customs I've seen that fit right in with the MU/MI. One of my things is I think if looks like it came out of a package and those do.

Thank you kind sir !!!!!
And this is how I get my cash for those.....

lol... Still one of my favorites..You guys can't really see it cause I suck at taking pics , but KDub does this airbrush thing on the figures and it gives an organic look. I think this was the first one I had made. Batroc is the MAN ! I wonder if he could beat Snake eyes...hmmmmm

Great looking Batroc!
I'm glad the subject of customs mistakes has come up. I finally had some time this weekend but instead of buying the right paint for Shang Chi's skin I got lazy/impatient and mixed some testors acrylic but he is way too pale! Should I just paint over, remove the old paint with nail polish remover first, or just scrap it and get another head. It was originally cast in flesh from vortious. Any advice would be appreciated:

Looking at all those amazing customs you guys do, I'm ashamed to put this here. I just finished this tonight to join my cosmic shelf...

The body is from Vortious. The head, arms and upper torso are transparent blue with sparkles inside so they catch the light pretty neatly at the right angle.

I love the glitter in the transparent resin casts!!!! He also does silver and gold that look amazing (in pics, never held one)

Casting the body parts in the proper colour and avoiding paint applications is the way forward. I really want a yellow female for HELLCAT so bad!

Nice looking out Ky, I "watched" that lot. At under £10 shipped for 8 figures I might just get them for the lad to play with. I do need some random heads. Be nice to find cheap factory ones.

Samssons Batroc is AMAZING. I have studied the air brushing before. Does that eliminate rub? I would imagine if joints were disassembled, sanded, sprayed (not brushed) and the properly sealed the chance for rub should be nil.

That is a FINE figure your rocking URSA don't be bashful!!!! I don't know who it is though. A lot of customs are totally random and obscure guys. I remember Seeing The Owl the same week he was in my Marvel Fact Files issue. Pretty random character there!

Korg, who I had to look up as well way back when he was announced, is in the new upcoming Emma wave. Him and the silly Colosonaught are the reason my gold Ultron got bumped from this wave. Who bloody knows if we will see him now.

Here's a quick photo drop of the only customs I made back in the day. I never thought in a million years that Hasbro would actually make a Thunderstrike figure one day. I still like mine better...

And some WIP pics:

Ah the memories!

My next project as a matter of fact. A base and all the parts for a Hellcat were included with the good Captain here. She's next on the plate though it may be a bit. Things going on at the moment and the like.

Yeah, this is Captain Universe. No one Captain in particular, though. At first I was going to paint him up like the recent Gabriel Vargas version, but I changed my mind and just made a basic generic guy since he can be anyone.

And NeatoGecko, those figures (the Thunderstrike in particular) are amazing! The paint detail you put on them is stellar.

So I was flicking through the old MU thread; in just over 16 months they managed 1777 pages. We've been on this thread for 3 years and have only just got to 700 (). What's wrong with us? Is our passion not as burning as theirs?
The reason they were able to take up so many pages was because they went extremely off topic. There would be entire pages of people complaining about the admins and other really off topic stuff.

Sorry for not being active the past few days. I just got back from vacation. Saw FF and I have to admit that it was one of my favorite Marvel movies. I think a lot of the hate it's getting is invalid. Doom was so badass in the movie! All I could think of during his scenes were, "I can't wait to ask @Pilkster to make a custom movie Doom for me!"

Anyways, Lady Deadpool came in the mail during vacation, and now that I've arrived, I finally got to see this figure in person.

Doom wasn't badass, his undefined nonsense powers amounted to telekinesis, but only of rocks, and head explosion, but only when it's not Franklin Storm. And he'll only use immediate head explosion when it's not on the Fantastic Four, but they're only called that because Thing (who isn't called Thing except by Johnny at the end as a joke) used an adjective to describe something that's clearly not his life, because that is not fantastic.
Just a poor film all out. Probably due to Fox interference, but they might not have had to interfere if Trank hadn't been a tit.
