Great pics. We need to get a hold of vonner and see if those fury files are unique to Yelena.

That is not true at all. The embargo applies only to several selected categories of goods ie. fruit, flowers, cheese, fish etc. As much as I dislike russian government I have to admit that Marvel merchandise is probably more available in Russia than in Central Europe. See Marveltoy.ru, Fantoy.ru etc.

Nevertheless that russian ebay colletion is almost certainly fake.

sorry, my bad Russia has a booming economy, great leadership, and I'm sure a thriving collectors community, I'm surprised there are no Russian warning labels on toys. and as far as availability goes I haven't seen the last three waves at retail! so yes if Russia gets one case of figures there doing better than the US for distribution.

Don't be so sour. I do not want to fight. I just had to react when I saw someone ridiculing second-world countries collectors. We do not have Target, ToysRUs, Hasbrotoyshop or ComicCon, we pay 20 bucks just to ship the figures to Europe, but we love MU as much as you guys!

It's all good there Kostej...I know Kyl does not want to fight either. Kylactus was just trying to make the point that the eBay listing is shady. I'll even say it's fake because all those pics are stock photos (blade for example is the most obvious) and black widow if it turns out to be a custom figure is still a fake at the end of the day.

Yes I for one really enjoyed how Kylactus tried to back up his initial offensive comment with incorrect assumptions, then proceeded to be nothing but a smartass when he was straight-up schooled on the facts. It was very entertaining.

What's even more entertaining is that ebay auction in question, though. In case no one noticed, the expected delivery date is late December. Between that, the seller's new profile and the obviously photoshopped picture I can't even begin to imagine how anyone can even think that was a legit auction.

Now excuse me while I crawl back under my bridge

Can we actually do that? I'd imagine that it's not too hard.

EDIT: He's pretty active on Twitter. It's not like a million people a day tweet to him so it shouldn't be hard for him to notice a tweet that's sent to him. I've got quite a few questions and I'd rather ask the big man himself than rob Raf's house and open up the goods myself.

Dr. Strange head with shaved beard and resculpted and repainted hair.
2009 Beachhead body
2009 Cobra Commander legs
2009 Destro (nazi version) arms
Dr. Strange hands
Movie Fury cloak
sculpted belt

If I had a spare, I would use Old Man Logan/Sabretooth cloak because it is more comic accurate, but it is sooo expensive...

I just received my Emma Frost and Chameleon from BBTS, and I have got to say that the Chameleon is a REALLY nice figure...

...for just standing there on a shelf.

Holy crap that has to be the single most useless hip articulation I've seen on a figure in a LONG time. You get better hips from a 90s-era figure than this guy. Geez.

Fortunately, 'just standing there' tends to be the norm on my shelves, but still... unfortunate. Especially given the availability of the Professor X body.

i'm sorry if I've offended the soviet block, you commies are all right! I just don't really think people who didn't even have "Pop culture" until the 90's probably don't have the fan base in Russia they do in the US. what am I wrong about? please enlighten me you expert in geopolitical commerce in eastern Europe an west Asia. Is Russia a beautiful utopia, they just don't want everyone to know? Sorry if it hurts peoples feelings, but there are parts of the world in really bad financial situations where I would propose, there are not a lot of people with the disposable income to collect things they can't eat or stab someone with. It does make me smile to picture a yak skin hut in Mongolia with MU figures pined to the walls, but I think it's pretty rare.

It's the first thing you've ever said that actually makes sense.

Hi guys; sorry been inactive most of this week; love all the photos and the creativity (great picture Mutantkind). Got to say, what an incredible Dr. Strange custom! I loved that comic series and really liked his casual outfit passing on the supreme title.

Guys, currently there is terrible things going on the world. The people of all nations are angry and love is scarce. This thread brings a small joy, an outlet to plug into once in awhile and share my hobby with like-minded people. I guess i'm a little emotional and some of the things going on lately between us folks; well, aren't we all friends in some unspoken way? I know we don't know each other personally, some do; what a gift to find people of many nations coming together to share a hobby together.

Love you guys.
