You bring up a good point. For some people, including myself, the idea of it being a rare figure adds to the value of it. If I was a complete noob at this and one of you showed me Anti-Venom without telling me that it was rare, I probably would have said something like I would pick it up if I stumbled upon it in a comic store or something at best. But because I know it's rare it compelled me to get it. It makes it feel special, I guess you can say.

I know it sounds stupid, but it's like that for some people.

I agree with all of you guys. Look...loose collectors have it easy IMO, you find one and who cares about the variants unless it's a different figure. That's why when I put out a list like that I always say that only MOC completest collectors would understand and appreciate the figure. If I were a loose figure collector, life would be so much easier but I enjoy the hunt. You loose collector guys don't know that feeling of emptiness when you have exhausted your search and you come out empty. It may sound strange but I enjoy that feeling so very much because it pushes me to the limit!

Not really...look closer. Cable hope WHIT NO HOPE was. The card says hope is included for several of these cards were released without the actual baby so that's what made it rare.

Well the box is long gone now and if it wasn't me that got him it was some kid that got him as a gift from his gma. I know I seen the card like that but didn't realize it was a thing at the time.

Got some of those action figure display cases for my Iron Man armory and they arrived today. I'm pleased with the results. I may tweak things a bit more (not happy with the placement of the Hulkbuster and Thorbuster armors), but overall I love how the armors look in those compartments!

Oh, I see. Yeah, and he was actually one of the hardest ones for me to find.

What is that Thorbuster?

Also, who's this guy.

And what is a rare figure in the $100 range that everyone here wants?

Well, I'm going to say that for me it is a Black Panther Black Eyes figure. It's the only one I'm missing and I'm hoping I find it in the $100 range but I doubt that. Lol

I don't think we could get our hands on something like that. We need something that is rare but not impossible to find. For example, while Vision is a pretty valuable figure there's always a few of him on eBay.

My bad, I thought it was a general question for each to answer. I just realized you're asking for the kids toy drive. Ignore my last then.

rare but findable: Original Havok, Death mask Archangel, Blade, clear Vision, Astral Strange, Solid Vision but he's going to be more than 100, Mrs. Marvel, and several of the two packs, Quick silver Task Master, Silver Samurai. or you could go with the blue goliath, frost Giant, or Masterworks dark Galactus.

Actually I was talking about the possible contest. I'm definitely going to try to go out of the way for that drive but $100 is pretty big for me.

Ursa.....great display as always my man!!!! You never disappoint!!!

As for the $100 figure....There have been several great suggestions, but there is (in my opinion) only one figure in that range that almost no one has. The figure with the confirmed lowest production number actually produced under the branded MARVEL UNIVERSE name and packaging. Even Raf does not have this figure! The list a few posts up from Raf is perfect, a lot will have the ones (if not all) that they want.....But the gem you hardly see is a factory (non custom) Maria Hill.

She is quite hard to find, I have helped people find her several times though. She is a real joy. Easily one of the favourite pieces in our collection. There are those that don't agree but she is a great figure. I would buy a ticket to that ride.

Also forgot..... That Coulson is perfect. Glass man is hands down the best in the casting game!!! A true artist. He casts, shrinks or enlarges, paints at the highest pro level and can custom sculpt anything.

We need him to give us the Legends scale Ruffledfeather and glassesless Renner.

EDIT: Oh he does have them. I know what I'm gettin' with my next paycheck!
