That modular armor is pretty bad ass!!! I need to make one. As for the Thorbuster. You have done a great job but I agree I wouldn't want mine the same size or bigger than hulk buster.

They really are making legends and 3.75 the same as well? Seems like we're about to get all the 3.75 and or 6 inch of same characters. I really need to just pick 1 line and stick with it.

^except legends are getting swappable hands and heads, BAF parts, and an amazing amount of detail. were getting less articulation a lot of repacks, and I haven't seen a wave at retail since the guardians, and it was three straight repacks and Wonderman recast purple. sometimes your the windshield, sometimes your the bug, right now I feel like we're the bug in a big way.

I had a go at a Thorbuster a while ago, I'm surprised Hasbro never did an official repaint of the Destroyer, maybe because it was a movie figure.

Just saw the Emma wave in store.... no Emma but everyone else was there. We have gotten all the recent since the Guardians wave over here. Isn't usually that way. Wonder if there is a correlation with seeing them here and not there. The stores here still have plenty of Shanna Doc Ok Vultures Hawkeye Spidey Sandman and that awful Beast s everywhere I turn it seems.

It's the head from the IM2 advanced armour with an attempt to replicate the magnet shaped thing on his forehead attached to it.

I believe you are referring to the Ulik Carol Danvers wave. One that I am 100% behind.

Yeah, alright! I was aiming for something a bit more accurate than just repainting the Destroyer head. If anyone's got any better suggestions I'm listening!

Guys, I am ready to start working on Groot custom. I have Legends Patriot body at hand, but new Entertainment Earth Star-Lord would be obviously much better choice. Doesn't any of you have a spare body? I do not mind if it is headless, handless, loose, with paint errors, I will hack and slash him anyway...

You forgot to add that the 3.75 is starting to get more $ and catching up to the costs of the 6 inch line it seems like. Which is crazy, unless we start seeing a bump in price with the legends line...:P But yeah decisions decisions.

I'm in too deep with 3.75 to turn back now, I'm like two items (not counting those unholy grails) from a complete collection. plus the fact that to really have a complete legends set your looking at 15 grand easy (that's not counting grails, ultra rare variants, ect) but I do lie a lot of the stuff coming out. definitely going for Venom and task master. I'd love someone to start doing shrinks and casts on some of the new stuff. but mostly I'd love to get back to the days where there was at least SOMETHING in stores! has anyone seen MU in discount bins, EVER!?! or falling off the pegs like the legends are now? the shit sold out every time, I will say in defense of Hasbro, in business if you sell a product out quickly you're not charging enough. so a small price bump makes sense. what doesn't make sence is not putting 3.75" stuff out in stores in favor of things that don't move! is anyone buying the Titan series garbage? I've noticed the Mashers have dried up, and the micro avengers don't look like they've moved at all.

How would you go about shrinking and enlarging? Shrinking sounds possible but enlarging seems impossible to me. Is there a video or an online guide on how to? If it's simple and in my budget I'd be shrinking ML's left and right.

The cutbacks to MI seems like the proper side-effect to branching out into other products such as the Titans, mashers, and 2.5 figs/playsets. All that plastic mess could of went into a bicep swivels and/or ab crunches.

I'm sorry, but how insulting is it to think it would be cool for kids to pop Hulk's leg off and put it on ghost rider while he has a Spiderman arm?! I mean, how stupid of a gimmick in the first place to think this would be a great toy? Coming from MU and all its awesomeness that flew off shelves; made nations swarm every store (that sold them) in thier county to find the new wave hot off the delivery truck; to peg warming "New" bunk molds they already knew would highly dissappont followers of the line.

As great as Legends are looking, and the appeal to collect some pretty great figures; the ideology and deception behind the new guy's "vision" to sparse our line into weak bucks; fuels the contempt to pass on Legends because I do not want to be brought in-line with their pigeonhole tactic, by depriving us while Legends receive healthy waves that come often and are plentiful in stores that sell them. Granted, I am still excited about some of the upcoming figures (Spiderman Noir); but the ones with the new buck just incites my saltiness; especially on really good characters that fans wanted (Bishop, Beast, Chameleon).

Just a random question for you guys. Would you have them drop the articulation even more (but not 5 POA) but have awesome BAF's come with them?

it would feel like a slap in the face considering ML never gives up articulation and they just get more and more for the same price! while we get screwed over. here's an easy comparison:
ML Chameleon: well articulated, suit and tie body, two extra heads to make two unique characters, and a BAF part. Price about 20$
MI Chameleon: reduced articulation, repacked Osborne head and a shit house spideyish head that makes no god dammed sense. no extras. and a f#@king turtle neck! who the F#$k wears a turtle neck in 2015!?!. price: almost 14$
FU Hasbro FU.

Apparently, people don't want to spend as much on MU. If I had to pay $14 bucks for the MU quality of articulation that got me into the line, I'd take it! Honestly, it's easier to get into MU than it is to get into Legends, since a lot of the good ones sell for great prices on sites such as Amazon. You NEVER see a deal like those for Legends!

As for Legends themselves, I like them, but they're basically just bigger MUs. Everything a Legend can do these days has more or less been done by Universe, first in some cases. I was told by reviews that Legends were so much better than Universe by so many reviewers, when no, no they aren't. Universe, at least when it comes to the modern Legends, is the better line.

I also find it funny that some Universe figures are getting Legends forms.

I think the bitterness began when MU was in it's hey day and ML got canceled.as far as price I'd go so far as to say I'd pay 20$ a pop, if they had the level articulation they use to, more accessories, swappable heads and hands, and BAF parts. box them like a lot of the Japanese import figures with unique art and window boxes they could probably get 25 per and people wouldn't be disappointed. think about it would you rather pay 30$ for two so so figures with a lot to be desired, or one great figure that didn't disappoint you?

Yeah I don't know any kids that buy those crappy mashers (I have kids with a boat load of cousins). I saw 1 kid 1 time ask his parents for those things. I did see a wolverine with swappable heads. It's a shame they won't put that amount of resources into MU with all those accessories.
