I don't see the 6" figs shelfwarming any less than the smaller figs, tbh. I think the 4" line is better overall. I can understand them cutting down articulation a bit for that but I wish they didn't for MU proper.

Just got the Jane Foster Thor and Cap Falcon 2 pack for exactly $9 each on the way to Florida! I'm so happy that I got them at a huge discount.

Dang that's nice, I wish I could have gotten mine for that much :P I'm happy to have gotten the 2nd wave at TJ Maxx Price though.

Yup I'm in the same boat as you, although we do have a lot of wave 1 and 2 peg warming now at TRU.

Gamorra wave is finally hitting the TRUs locally, but after seeing the comic packs with her coming up, I'm willing to wait to grab those. Might pick up the new vision figure though. Looks so much better than the previous one.

Oh how the mighty have fallen!!!

Nah I actually swore off any and all Spidey stuff. No real reason just didn't want the hunt and financial investment...... Then I saw the new line (then) MI in stores. Wanted to support them and their decision to carry it. Got Vulture and Black Cat and soon after Sandman. Now I have slowly started going back for the rest.

Army building took up most of my time and funding for more than two years. Hard to get new figures when you are buying 150 of the same 6 figures over and over and over. It was a beautiful sickness. Done now, for the most part, and can focus going back and filling holes. That said, still have one of the deepest Avenger roosters out there.

Also have our MASSIVE army of SHIELD that has never been seen. Taking some new Skrull and HYDRA and maybe AIM pics this weekend. Weather permitting, it is Northern England after all and we get about 12 sunny days a year!!!

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I really do not get army building like that.

Army building, as a concept, is alright. There are a few things I want to build a limited army of(say, 3 or 4 of the same figure, +a general of some kind), but I don't get the appeal of 100+ of the same figure. It stops being a cool thing on your shelf and becomes figure spam after a while.

There are exceptions, like separating Stormtrooper armybuilds by variant, but I just don't get having a million of the EXACT SAME AIM soldier on your shelf.

Well, in response to that; many people have their thing. Just like Guiness Book of world records, there is no real good reason to have the longest fingernails in the world, but such acknowledgment exists. UKMU barely posts his collection but it's cool to see. I could only imagine the fun his kid has with an army to crash through. Different strokes for different folks.

-----------

Pilkster's package to me came today; I would of contacted you through what's app' but I deleted a lot of data to free up some space on my phone.

The Warbound is complete! Meik has arrived and it is my favorite of the bunch. Just the imagination and sculpting that Pilk did was ingenius.

I liked having 14 Madrox as that is his power, and it made for a great pic, but he was good custom fodder too so I think I am down to 7 or 8. As for troops, I am usually good with a squad. I don't need to do the emperors arrival on the Death Star or anything.

The official release Carnage is quite expensive, but you could always go the custom route, which will suffice and probably be far superior then the brittle one they released in the Spiderman line:

I see the 6 inch figs warming all the time. None would be difficult to find unlike the 4 inch figs.

That Venom looks a little lanky in that shot. Is he more robust than the picture looks? If not he'd make for a good Mac Gargan Venom.

Intergalactic wrestlers unite!!

Dammit boy what the hell you wearing??I told you the new ravager uniform was a championship wrestling belt some speedos and pirate boots.

New show idea for disney/marvel. 3 Hyperion's from alternate dimensions live together and get in to wacky adventures fighting heroes and villains and occasionally destroying planets.

Going to throw another shout out to Angry Nomad for the latest bunch of heads I got from him. Looking forward to putting together customs for these: Got Avalanche, Pyro and a good Strucker head - after some mods - along with several more great characters.

And welcome to all the new arrivals! Hope you guys add some customs of your own for us to enjoy.

Ha.... MUfan97 said, figure spam! Love it.

I always thought t was dumb too. Then I did it and couldn't stop! It was a strange desire to build the BIGGEST in the world. Not sure if we achieved it but we are happy.

It is pretty cool fighting 40 HYDRA goons versus Godzilla. I mean, how many people can do that? I like the number 15 for each army. It fills out a Detolf shelf nicely and looks super cool.

That said, I never liked the idea of having more than one of any single figure. Like we only have one Captain America and one Thor and one Wolverine. If there is a "better" one I would upgrade and off the extra. I've only a single Iron Man even, the wrap y Extremis version at that.

I also don't have the desire to build each and every team. There are a great many figures I never got. Just wanted Avengers, the core 90's X-Men, Fantastic Four and S.H.I.E.L.D. Got the ILLUSTRATED ANVENGER ENCYCLOPEDIA and try to get everyone in it.

It is fun army building but it does get pack luster at a point. The excitement wanes a bit after awhile. When yet another comes in the mail. That said, it is pretty cool setting them all up.

I used to army build for TMNT when I became an adult because as a kid my parents couldn't afford many so they got me unique figs every time. But then I realized A) I don't play or pose with my figs and B) it took up too much money and space. Obviously this is a personal decision and it only affects me, and I do love seeing when people have awesome pics on here of a dozen Hydra or AIM agents (although I felt a bit jealous for the longest because I couldn't find even one AIM guy until recently).

Yeah, the struggle is real on AIM soldiers. Can't find any of them for a price I actually want to pay, so I'm considering making 3 custom versions using the single carded Star Lord...Plus an EMH Scientist Supreme.

Hasbro would really benefit from rereleasing that AIM soldier.

I'll have to see which one is better in hand then. I was going to pass that pack up, thought they were the same honestly.

Off subject? Not really considering this is the 3.75 appreciation line and you're appreciating the new Mags that will be coming out. I am as well stoked to look for it.
