Nice, I'll probably skip the Dr Strange 2 pack though.
Yes I was surprised Best Buy started carrying toys.

This was an interesting read!
Kevin Feige & James Gunn Committed To More Female Character Merchandise

Even the MCU brass know there should be more female figures than there have been.

So I've definitely seen Spring 2017 as the release date for the movie packs. That should be around some time next month yeah? Man I hope so.

They all had holes in one hand so that they could hold their guns, becuase you know if a figure was 3.75" it needed to have some board game gimmick in order to justify its existence....
Back when it was a 'dead scale'. Right before coming to life again. Then being a 'dead scale' again!

I forgot about the launcher thing - I should have said he didn't have a hand that could properly hold a staff (without drilling). As you showed, he could wield it like a club, though.

I have what I thought was most of the build and brawl line. If they made a Hulkster, I missed him at the time.

That line was an awesome line. The build a ring/cage/chamber made sense, the articulation was solid, and it was the only way I could get Sgt Slaughter at a reasonable price. I was sad to see it not picked up on when Mattel got the WWE license.

I was unaware of a 1:18 Hulk Hogan. Do you have any info on that set?

Now that David Vonner is part of the WWE team hopefully we will get some more 1:18 scale wrestlers.

I also missed any reference to the Hogan figure and have never seen a picture of one. I'm looking into it now. This line was never really detailed very well so my searching had been a bit spotty but I have a pretty good picture of the whole line in the Archive.

Am I the only one who picks my figures up by the head? I was just dusting some of my figure shelves, and noticed that I tend to pick them up from that point.

I always pick them up with my hand over the head one finger on the back and my thumb on the chest. Kind of oddly specific now that I think about it. Damn OCD.

Double HA!!!

When I pick a figure I just go in like Kong and manhandle them by the waist/whole body. Sometimes (I honestly DO do this) I grab them by the foot, flip them upside down, and give them a good shake just to let them I'm the boss.... guessing no one else does that?

Right!!! That is THE reason why I do!!!!! Just the jerk figures, like Wrecker,

Finally got some Iron Man figures. We only ever had ONE and it was the scrappy Extrmis suit. Now we have 14 I think! Got a lot and a Tony Stark in a trade for some Star Wars prequel vehicles I scored awhile back. I am so impressed with them!!! Should have did it years ago.

Also, it's almost Valentine's Day. Anyone taking any "couples" toy pics? I am giving my son the Spider-Man baddies for V Day. He will take pics on Tuesday.... just awaiting Venom on the post. Should be here today or Saturday.

I'm kind of sad about this line, I don't even think about a wishlist for it anymore. I feel like it's kind of on its last leg. I honestly wish I could feel differently and that Hasbro would put some life into the line again. I would love to continue to get characters I'm interesting in, in this scale.

To all of you guys talking about ditching the collection, I ask one simple question:

This line is gradually returning to its former glory. We're getting awesome looking figures, and diaphragm joints are making a slow return. There's life in the old dog yet, so why ditch now? Did the glory days not mean enough to you guys?

Tbh, unless you're in desperate need of cash, I see no reason to stop investing your time and money into this. Despite its diminished state, I'd still take this over the 6 inch crap.

Forbidden Planet apparently taking pre-orders for the Dr Strange and GOTG 2 Packs with a 10th March release date.
Take with the appropriate pinch of Salt :-)

Any sign of the Spider-Man set? Was hoping they'd all drop at the same time.
