It's been proven that the parts can be replicated for the smaller line just look at the new movie Dr strange

Too true but I guess that just makes too much sense for the higher-ups at Hasbro.

I know the Chris Pratt head from that Jurassic World set doesn't look that great, but I'm kinda hoping it can look ok on the MCU Star-Lord. I take what I can get haha

Someone posted the AOTC Owen Lars head for Star lord on Hisstank. I have been passing on the movie figures as of late in favor of just the comic book based 3.75 figures.

That looks pretty funny, actually.

I'm with ya on the movie vs comic figures. 9/10, I'd prefer to get a comic figure over a movie figure since the comics are more appealing and have more range. I've only recently started acquiring MCU figures for a particular collection, and that's with the exceptions like Winter Soldier, who honestly looks better than the comic version of the character.

Hello everybody. So I was looking at the set photos for Thor. And thinking about figures...Besides Grandmaster I feel they would look like Lord of the ring figures.I'm so disappointed with HELA..I think they should have made her CGI a bit like xersies in 300 and give her, her head dress..that's what makes HELA ...well..HELA. Any thoughts?

Tbh, I think her outfit would've worked well for the Enchantress. The comic version is still better, of course, but that would've worked well.

Just got these in the mail, sadly they're HUGE. From what I gather much larger than any cap or iron man, it bums me because I'm a stickler for scale. Great sculpt and details though

Could we actually see them next to more Marvel figures? They don't look that big to me, I thought GIJoes were true 3.75" as where MU has tended to lean towards 4".

No the modern Joes have been inching towards 4 inches for a while now. They are definitely taller than true 3.75 figures. That being said I think that Snake Eyes is not a true 4 inches. Those GotG look great scale wise. Everyone is not 6' 2". People are short and they are tall.

Yeah, but Star-Lord towering over Iron Man in a full suit of armor is kind of pushing it. Like Drax is okay in that size. I'm all for scale and diversity within it but I don't see Star-Lord being much bigger than Cap if at all, therefore not bigger than Tony in a suit. I'll post pics later of them with black panther and iron man to give an idea of scale.

Dwight Stall hates 3.75 inch figures so much that he's trying to slowly change them into 6 inch figures. 😆

If you have the comic Yondu, try sticking that one's arrow in there.

I'm legit curious about how it looks.

They look tall too by the pictures...Glad I have no interest in them.

They're nice looking figures for sure but they do look pretty damn large. Maybe the Civil War Cap and AoU Iron Man will look a little more normal since they're a bit bigger than the usual Marvel figures?

Glad Strange isn't towering over everybody. The set I ordered should be here in the next few days I think.

Yondu doesn't seem too tall since the top of his head (not counting the fin) is pretty close to Nova's height. Star-Lord is too tall though but it's not unbearably so, a good pose could hide his height well in a group.
I don't really want either of these two movie packs but I do want both upcoming Spider-Man sets, especially the Spidey/Shocker pack.
