Mine is the same as Creator's minus the added articulation. I switched out the head with the one from the Target 2 pack that has bigger eyes. They are also pearl white in color. |

				 | Quote: Which Spider-Man do you all use as your favorite? I don't think they ever made a really good Spider-Man, which is ridiculous given how many of them they gave us. Anyways, here's a range of some of the ones I have on display: From left to right: 1. Super Hero Showdown Spider-Man (SHSSM): An oldy but still a goody if you can get over the gaunt "I haven't eaten in weeks" look. The articulation is out-dated now but it was amazing at the time and still gets the job done. The proportions are really good, except for the big feet. Some people like sculpted lines and it works really well here. 2. Spider-Man Super-Poseable Spider-Man (SPMN): This is the one that I like the most. It only suffers fro ma few minor nit-picks. The articulation is easy-to-use with all the ball-joint but they hamper the range-of motion. He also suffers from vulture-neck and slightly short arms. Still, he's a colorful, just-the-right-size Spidey that works in my display. 3. Marvel Universe Capt Britain Comic Pack Spider-Man (CBSM): One of the Spider-Men in MU that came with thigh cuts. Nice but its a body-style that was usually considered too tall for Peter Parker. And what's with that pin-sized head? I think he got shot by Doc Venture's shrink ray gun. The flared cuffs of this body are another thing that bother me. The paint is really good though. The lines are nice and crisp and its a blue that I really like. 4. Marvel Legends Shocker Two-Pack Spider-Man (STPSM): Probably the best articulated 4" Spider-Man and one that many people wanted. The proportions are great and the we can all agree is an amazing 4" action figure body. But for me he's just too bulky. Too big. And the thickness/execution of the painted lines is just shit. They're just thicker than I've ever seen any Spidey ever. So this just just not going to be one of my favorites. So which Spidey figure do you use as your favorite? Before that one, my favorite was the Amazing Spider-man super poseable figure. I mean, it wasn't exactly the traditional costume, but it worked for a while...It's kinda dated now, though. Also, I don't think the Captain Britain pack had that head. That's an Ultimate Spider-man head, which is meant for a slightly smaller body, which would explain the shrink ray thing.

I have my custom on display. Has full articulation and pairs of fist, grip and thwip hands to swap. I'm fine with his "bulk". 3. Marvel Universe Capt Britain Comic Pack Spider-Man (CBSM): Of the Hasbro figures, I like this one the most and use it as a teenage spidey in my Marvel world. But it's not on display since I already have a Peter Parker Spider-Man out. I also agree with you that the hands are tragic. Need to see if I can fit some thwip hands onto the figure and match the paint. You are correct. That's not the right head on that Spider-Man. |

What's Mega-Cannon Spidey? Quote: The hands on that black costume/capt brit Spider-Man figure where always horrendous. I never understood why the wrist is at that angle and who was the fat sculptor with the pudgy hands that thought super-hero fists look like that? Awful. MU had so much room to improve that they never took. @MUfan97/Mordiganne - Thanks for pointing that out! It was an eBay purchase. I should have noticed the difference though since I have a comic pack hanging next to my desk here. I never opened an Ultimate Spider-Man but I like the scale of it. I used to think it only needed one more wrist POA but now its also missing thigh cuts, rocker ankles, and a double jointed neck. |

Those are the thiner articulated upper legs. (karnak, scarlet spidey or the captain britain) Smaller than the jim lee cyclops buck (which would be much biggerand look worse.)
