Got some new MU figures from Pilkster. Pretty rad. Thanks man.
Catching up on the news from Toyfair. Bummed that we aren't seeing much more new content in the 3.75 inch scale. But the two packs they showed look mildly cool. I kinda like the Mega Man they released earlier, so I'll be interested to see who the new figures turn out. Quote:

That is an amazing collection. The paint is super clean on your customs. Impressive!

So pink goblin, your the one who killed the line! Damn you! Seriously though, I never saw MU figures on clearance ( until the rebrand) there was the occasional TRU all marvel merchandise sale, but never back in the MU days did I see any peg warming like I see legends do now. It was always more common to find empty pegs for long periods of time, and I can count on one hand the number of times I’d find a whole wave in stock.( and that was me being there when they were restocking).

Have they said anything about releasing a "classic" Predator from the first film at all? That is an amazing collection. The paint is super clean on your customs. Impressive! |

I don’t post often but I’m catching up on the Gamerverse 3.75 news and I know people are disappointed in the lack of 3.75 figs right now but honestly the Gamerverse line has me pretty excited. It’s really a great way to potentially have some fresh characters released. Between Contest of Champions and Marvel vs Capcom there is a HUGE selection of characters they could pull from. I mean look at this list: List of Champions | Marvel Contest of Champions Wikia | FANDOM powered by Wikia
If they could do even just two waves a year of three of these sets, that’s a pretty decent output for a “dead” 3.75 line. Not what it used to be, sure, but if they keep including characters that you don’t see very often (Mr Negative, Civil Warrior, Collector) I think that’s a solid way to keep things alive. |

I remember walking into a fred Meyer (Kroger grocery chain) and seeing the MU line for like $7.99... but I want to say that was about a decade ago... cost of doing business on these figures has went up for sure, I don’t blame you and there is hardly any 3.75 stuff out there.

The only clearance I saw back in the day was the Cap and Iron Man movie figures. Since the scalpers moved on to 6" Legends, everything in our scale shelfwarms around me. The Mega Man/Iron Man pack went on sale a week or two after they came out for some reason. |

Also seeing other Contest of Champions characters I can't help it but notice that several figures from the last 3.75 inch line waves were probably meant for upcoming Gamerverse line - that would explain unusual choices like white armor Gamora, Superior Iron Man, Maestro, Colossusnaught...

Give me Angela, Ronan, Dr. Voodoo, Magik and Agent Venom and I will be satisfied for the whole 2018.

Sorry guys, it's all my fault.
The only clearance I saw back in the day was the Cap and Iron Man movie figures. Since the scalpers moved on to 6" Legends, everything in our scale shelfwarms around me. The Mega Man/Iron Man pack went on sale a week or two after they came out for some reason. It really wasn't my intent. I guess my opinion was pretty skewed, because I didn't buy the endless repaints and revamps of ironman and spidey. sorry for the derailment. |
