New figures... not so much. We thought it was all she wrote for the scale. We did however, get word at the end that they will continue with the GameVerse figures. The continuation of the two packs with a Marvel character and a video game character, like last years MegaMan and Iron Man set.

Look to get a new Negative Man reuse of the Professor Xavier suited buck. A rerelease of The Collector from the final SDCC set a few years back. A new armoured Captain America as well. I have forgotten the game characters already.

Some of us are hopeful to see some needed holes filled with these. I am a bit more pessimistic however. I think it may just be a short fizzle and then nothing. I am often wrong though and am wishing for some good things to happen while our line ‘rests’ in hiatus.

I gotta say, these Hiya figures are AWESOME. If this is what I get for $20 vs about $10, then I want the $20 version all day. These Predator figures are SICK.

I've only had a couple days to mess with them. They are less fragile than the Aliens figures, obviously because the limbs aren't so thin and the joints are easier to see. The joints were tight. So like an adult collector, take care when bending the figure and heat up stuck joints if necessary.

The hands pop off MUCH easier than the Aliens figures, which is nice. They're female on these figures instead of the male part of the joint like the Xenos. A pair of fists would have been nice instead of the two relatively similar open palm hands.

The hair is soft so it doesn't impede turning the head, which has a great range of motion.

Two quick knocks I can think of, the disk weapon is tedious to plug onto fingers or onto its holster, and the ankle artic kind of sucks is you're spoiled on Vonner-style rocker ankles.
