I'm thinking my original post might warrant its own thread, hopefully galvanizing all 3.75 collectors. Not just us Marvelites yet also DC, Star Trek, Jimi Hendrix, Happy Days, Full House, and who knows what else! Since you brought it up I might as well re-post it below,

I forwarded a suggestion for Mego to resurrect a (super articulated) 3.75 inch Pocket Heroes line. They're listening and open to more of your ideas at the Mego Ambassador Facebook and the Mego Corp Youtube Channel, https://megoambassador.com https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCdkHR...TcihMrw/videos ![]() |

That big pile of 3.75inch line questions on Hasbro Pulse instagram was ignored but I do not believe it went totally unnoticed by them.
What really disappoints me is the lack of people asking them the questions about our line in person during conventions. We have no representative out there.

Its not really "a way around Hasbro" yet we can get similar 3.75 figures from any company receptive of doing so. Example. Boss Fight Studio does freelance and sculpted great figures for both themselves and Hasbro.
If a receptive Marty Abrams of Mego sees lots of us asking for "Pocket Heroes 3.75" on Facebook, Youtube, or conventions; he can easily team with Boss Fight Studios. I emailed Boss Fight over dumb questions in the past (they always answered). Then I presently asked of them about re-doing a DC 3.75 line with the new Mego - and for once - they mysteriously did not answer. I hope this is a good sign! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Super Joe; 10-07-2018 at 01:35 PM.. |

Hulk is the only one I have a problem with because he was the same height as everyone else. Great at the time just to have him. I also feel Penguin and Green Goblin should have been left with the bent knees, just works better for them.

I can see a black tie Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne, and more reusing Mego 3.75 Love Boat figures. Daisy Duke's figure can also easily apply to various women super hero figures. Star Trek will be so easy to repaint and reuse the same standard uniform many times over. Mego's got the Facts of Life license so Xavier students such as Kitty, Jubilee, and the Stepford Cukoos can use those as figures too. Anyone else see more possible reuses?

A 1:18th scale resurgence is in the cards for later, but it's going to take some time to line some things up for it. Right now at least, Legends is going to carry us into the end of MCU Phase 3, so on the MCU side, we may not see something until Phase 4. Possibly with Spider-man FFH, and maybe Captain Marvel 2. With more coming depending on the film. But historically speaking, the 1:18th surge originally started in Phase 1 MCU on the first batch of Sequels, more predominately right before Ironman 2 and Ironman 2 was the first film to do the scale, with Cap and Thor following it and leading into Avengers. So if they're celebrating a decade of films, our content wouldn't come until after the initial 10 years of MCU stuff. (Though technically the Norton Hulk film was the pre-cursor, but the real push into the scale didn't happen until closer to Ironman 2.) The bigger issue right now is on retailers. The retailer support for it isn't there yet. But given some time, that'll change as the market shifts. Right now, retailers want bigger things, or things that are more reasonably priced. Which is why we're seeing part count drops to material, and under 10 USD material to go alongside the collector market. These things we're seeing on shelves right now are more based on retailer demands of a "general audience" line. So shifting that is the current question, and reminding retailers of early success lines like Avengers and Ironman 2 as well as the spider-man line. So given some time, we might see a surge of material to coincide with various factors. Now on the DC side, that's another matter. But Mattel might be more open to it now after how well Jurassic World's line did. Last edited by Snowflakian; 10-07-2018 at 09:17 PM.. |

Your posts are one of a few things that keep me hopeful, so thank you for them. If only we heard something similar from Hasbro reps. Something akin to "Dear 3.75inch collectors, we feel your pain. We know it's dry season for you right now. But we care for you. Enjoy these Gamerverse 2packs, look forward for several more in 2019 but most importantly, keep your eyes peeled for 2020 because if everything goes well, big things will happen. And you will love it!"

Looking for the following: FF boxset (regular blue bodies); sabretooth (Jim Lee costume - don't care which); red daredevil (1st on cyke buck); Ragnarok Hulk (x2 just figures).
Think that's it for the moment. I don't have anything to trade since I don't tend to keep fodder, but will buy if the price is reasonable. Thanks in advance! |

Aware of the demand. Be patient, and too much harassment will have the opposite effect.

6" Joes would just suck. They are not meant for that scale. The thing that has always made GI Joe what it is are the vehicles and playsets, even when they were large scale. Hasbro could never do cost effective vehicles and playsets for any 6" line now, let alone what the Joe line deserves to be what it was meant to be.

Hasbro is trying to redo their movies. BumbleBee looks step in right direction. I heard a GIJoe or MASK character is likely in the film. If BumbleBee does well, I could see a push from Hasbro to focus on 3.75" again for those brands which might bring SW and MU along with it. But who knows? They might chicken out and release GIJoe in 6".
After Bumblebee they are rebooting. |
