Most of my SHIELD guys are Joe-based using the “Reactive Armor” figures from the 2009 Rise of Cobra line. These are old pics and I have since added water slide decals of sulver SHIELD logos. I need to take new pics.

Well for one he was instrumental in the rebranding and dearticulation of mu. The price increase also killed intrest. Fanbase only goes so far.13 bucks (plus tax) for something that was once only 8 bucks and came with accessories, a stand and in beautiful packaging is not gonna keep the customer base.

As far as legends we are starting to see the same thing. Figures in a line without a baf piece and a few measely accessories for the same price as fig with measley or no accessories with baf piece, figures with less articulation (mostly movie or tv based figs but stil, and look at that utterly stupid six armed spidey. No baf very limited want, no waist or torso articulation.). Seems eerily similar to what befell mu.

And i for one would go apeshit over legends gamerverse street fighter 2 packs. Hell i picked up several of the gamerverse packs at gamestop. 11 bucks....yah i was all over that.

prices increase,look at toybiz legends prices back then to now.the problem was the "community" killed itself by not knowing how to be a community,too much ego!compared to the more grounded legends communities across the mediastream.

come on guy what are you talking about 2018 was a great year for legends 10 waves released with many sought after figs and BAFS then theres the packs with army builder options.good times for legends,dont be salty and putting out a false narrative here.

Prices may increase but what was done with mu was,in the eyes of many mu collectors, was done deliberately to undermine mu to the point that they could get rid of it and it worked. To not support the line when they give unwarranted price increases to a line of figs when they churn out inferior product ( again i bring up the reduced articulation, removal of accessories and stands, simplified packaging, spotty distribution ) is not on the community. To give less and charge more.........i wouldnt have supported that either.

As far as legends go, yah there may be lotsa releases but again on figs that should have had artic at one time now dont ( no calf swivers, wrist or bicep swivels )...is too remanicent of what happened with mu. Im just saying theres a parallel. Yes its unlikely, right now, that legends will suffer the fate of mu but if legends raise prices without increase in quality it will likely suffer. You cant expect people to pay more for less and stay loyal.....its just doesnt make sense.
