How is it going fellas. Been super lazy lately, totally unmotivated. Today ends the slump and can't help but to either hear, see, or read the Marvel Legends Dwight Stall nonsense. It may be over for our scale with hasbro but marvel universe figures will continue to be churned out in the lab. Don't give in guys and lets keep each other inspired. Made this Ares last year with plenty of extras so decided to make the black pants version. Dremeling out the helmet was the hardest part.
Well lets get started on the black pants version. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

i hear a lot of gripes about artic but most people here pose their collections in a stationary position XD its not like this thread is bombarded with ACBA shots.and besides real collectors dont really care as they had 5POA figures back in the day, they have a soft spot for them.

One of Hasbro's early mistakes (that they've now corrected) was underestimating the customizing market. I spend more on MU figures in a year now then I did the entire time I was just collecting. Because the only way to get parts is to buy more bodies. Hasbro caught on to that (eventually) which is why they started packing alternate character heads in with the figures instead of making a whole extra figure on its own and selling it with that head. Because people will buy more of the base figure to get another body to stick the head on. It's a great business model that the idiot bean counters ignored for years.

Dafuq u smokin (again)!!! Asking thee Robert Best if he'd love to do that sexy sexy sexy Tom Cruise (as a toy that is). All you who think the fate of 3.75 is in the hands of HasStall? Think again. Mattel just announced they are making the official "Top Gun Maverick" toyline complete with vehicles, playsets, and hence very likely 3.75 = http://www.toyark.com/top-gun-maveri...1/?#post807554
i have to admit i was pleasantly surprised and happy to see what Mattel did with the 3.75 inch Jurassic Park, World, and Legends line. If they make a 3.75 inch Top Gun line, i would be on board. i collected figures, vehicles, and dinos. i'd happily collect some figures and vehicles for this line as well (trying really hard not to picture a pretty cool air-carrier or flight deck playset ![]() ![]() |

Question for all my customisers out there
Looking for some tips for some customs and hoping I'd get some help here I was wondering what could be used for the following Cull Obsodian M'Baku Okoye Wasp (sort of have an idea for her) Ebony Maw Trying to add to my Endgame Final Battle diorama and my Thanos army is severely lacking I've Thanos,3 Chitauri and a Dark Elf And on the Avengers side I've Cap Iron Man Thor (another possible custom as his hair keeps breaking off) Scarlet Witch (custom needed for a poseable/movie accurate body) Doctor Strange Black Panther Spider-Man Captain Marvel Star Lord Rocket Groot (using the 5" as a grown up Groot, beggars can't be choosers) Bucky (The Hobbit's Kili head on a CA TFA Winter Soldier body) War Machine Falcon And awaiting my Professor Hulk w/ Gauntlet to arrive |

I have a general question if anyone knows the answer: Does anyone know how those 'mini arcade' machines scale with MU? I know there seem to be 2 different sizes, but I can't tell which ones work best.

^ I quite fancy some 3.75" scaled arcade machines as well.
Aragorn and Valinor are available to preorder from the Bossfight website. $110 for both horses and upgrade sets. ($35 for shipping to Europe so a rather tasty $145 all up, probably getting towards $180 by the time you throw in some tax and 'handling' fees.) Still, Valkyrie and Black Knight will look awesome.

I saw one in a Cracker Barrel for like $20 that scaled well, but I also saw some ones in Wal-Mart that were too big. I'd tell you the brand, but I didn't buy it because it was Dig Dug.

You will need something to get it higher but they are the right scale. Last edited by Autobot_Goldbug; 02-24-2020 at 10:47 PM.. |
