It's double Vort's price, but at least you'll get it this calendar year.

Just to update in case anyone is curious about Nomad's shop. I bought almost a dozen heads from him and got them 5 days later. They arrived 5 days ago, so I've already had them for a while. From what I remember him saying before he doesn't make to order. All of his items are in stock so he just pulls your items and ships. Recommended!

I was at a toy show a couple of months back hoping to get some cheap MU figures for the project. The prices were out of this world for what I was willing to pay for loose figs with no accessories. I'm talking most around the $20 range for those. Easy pass.

But the most telling thing was only one toy seller there had any. Everyone else was saying that people were holding on to what they had since the line is dead.

Sad but true. It seems that way with GI Joe too.

Collectors and sellers are realizing that what MU/Joe product is out there is all that remains.

Combining Toys'R Us closing, retail distribution messes, and figure wave disorders, finding certain MU (and JOE) toys for a fair score is becoming rare.

Thanks for the heads up, Cattivo!

i didn't even know Sony (or whoever) would drop another. i'm down if i find one. i've gotten the other two and the Blu-Ray/DVD sets aren't much more than regular sets without the figure.

Thinking of going a drastic route to get some new figs - the library locally lets you 3D print one free thing a month(or maybe week, not sure).

This means, ideally, I could have a figurine of any Marvel character I want if I could rip them out of one of those mobile games.

A lot of the chars I want tho are X-men and the've been excluded from a lot of stuff. any ideas? Anyone any experience with 3D printing? Any guides for how to split up models to make action figures/model kits?

Pity you aren't here where you could attend Comicpalooza. They have an entire section of 3D printers and even make repair parts for cosplayers there. You could ask questions to your hearts content.

I mean it's a lot cheaper than making customs. Getting base bodies and sorts has gotten too expensive. Granted they're non posable figurines (until I figure out how to fix that) but better than nothing. Just need to paint them.

It seems that everyone BUT Hasbro is keeping 3.75 inch alive these days. Heck, beyond Vintage collection, are they even doing 3.75 lines for Star Wars? Last I heard, they moved to 5 inch for the kids stuff.

Any recs for a custom base for Viv Vision? If i'm going with her casual look, it'd mostly be a paint job. I'm thinking maybe the Mary Jane figure?

She has some pretty cool outfits tho. Was thinking of looking up old Microladies since similar aesthetic.

I believe The Vintage Collection will be the only 3.75 inch offering of the next movie.
Hasbro has halted the basic lesser articulated (5PoA) line from my understanding.
