Eh. I don't really think it's that confusing. They've already been releasing Gamerverse stuff under not just multiple scales, but across different lines and companies (the Gamerverse branding is used for Funko Pops and Diamond Select's game stuff as well).

It's just a catch-all term referring to merch based on Marvel video games. Scale or size doesn't really matter. It's not nearly on the level of calling the 3.75 inch figures "Marvel Legends" after using that branding almost exclusively on 6-inch (and occassionally 12-inch figures) for well over a decade.

I suspect those figures are a line for their Marvel's Avengers video game.
Then they would be 5 inches like the Avengers movie line.

There are some close-up pics at figures.com

Fuck this I was really looking forward to a Kamala figure. Fuck Hasbro and fuck Dwight Stall. Gamerverse was the only scale we had left. Imagine seeing all the outcry for 4 inch figures and making it fucking worse.

The Hulk and Abomination are noticeably smaller than the Cap next to them. That's what had me thinking they were part of a 3.75" line.

This whole toy fair from marvel, to joe, to top gun had me excited at one point or another for a 4” resurgence but it was all misunderstandings and lies.

Dafoe Goblin still needs some minor tweaks (busy concentrating on his Glider at the moment) but here's my MCU/SUMC Sinister 9. Haven't decided yet which three need to be dropped, especially as I now have a Movie Morbius in the works :-)

I think it could just be camera angle, but I hope you are right. We know that Cap is Legends. So who knows. They could just be undersized 5 inch scale.

Does anyone have an Invisible Woman they'd be willing to part with? Having trouble finding one atm on eBay, main issue is the crazy shipping from the US, so pref from UK. The only one I can really get is the Future Foundation one, but it won't match my other 3 FF members :/ I may just have to throw together a custom but not sure who to use as a base.

They didn't even have role play which would've been so easy. Simply 1 helmet and Mattel had all these repaints they could have sold

A poster on Hisstank summed it up well saying the people who thought Mattel was gonna do a full-on 80s Joe-style action figure line for Top Gun were most likely setting themselves up for disappointment.

Maybe they'll do something collector-oriented, but it's not a franchise that has the toyetic kid appeal Jurassic Park does.

I know it's still fairly expensive shipping/import duty from the US, but if you wanted an 'invisible' Invisible Woman, then a clear blank Bossfight Studios figure would work.

I agree (to an extent) it's disappointing. Indeed the sequel itself features, an epically massive array, of toy / model vehicles...

Jazware is doing 3.75 inch Halo stuff. If anyone is looking for custom or vehicle fodder.
